Important information

Before using your new helmet please take a moment to read the

following instructions for its use and care.

This helmet was developed for skiing and snowboarding and is

manufactured using state of the art processes. However, even the

highest safety standards do not exclude the possibility of injury

in a serious accident. The impact may be so great that the helmet

will not oﬀer its wearer eﬀective head protection.

Conformity with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425

for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as well as with those of the

harmonising Technical Standard EN1077:2007 Class B has been

certiﬁed by the issuing authority TÜV Süd Product Service GmbH,

Ridlerstraße 65, 80339 Munich, Notiﬁed Body No 0123. A full

A Class A helmet is a high performance protective helmet for skiers

and snowboarders. A Class B helmet is a helmet for skiers and snow-

boarders for which the requirements are a little less restrictive.

A Class B helmet can thus oﬀer more air circulation and comfort,

without giving up too much protection.

Class A and class B helmets are for alpine skiers, snowboarders and

similar groups. Class A helmets oﬀer comparatively more protection,

Class B helmets can oﬀer more ventilation and allow better hearing.

However, they protect a smaller area of the head and give a lower

measure of protection.

This ski helmet is suitable for use with ski goggles. Be sure the ski gog-

gles accurately ﬁt into the helmet opening and doesn’t press into the

bridge of your nose when the helmet is tightly closed.

Selecting the helmet size

• Choose your helmet by measuring the circumference of your head

with a ﬂexible tape measure. Always try on a couple of diﬀerent

sizes before buying. When wearing the helmet, the skin of your

temples should move with it.

• Make sure that the helmet does not move around too much when

the chin strap is open.

• The chin strap must ﬁt securely. It should sit comfortably under the

chin, as far back towards the neck as possible. Fasten it as tight as

possible. It is correctly ﬁtted when you ﬁnd it diﬃcult to insert your

ﬁnger between the chinstrap and neck, yet are still able to breathe

and swallow easily. Make sure that the helmet does not restrict

your movements, e.g. when turning your head to look behind you.

• The helmet fits correctly if it’s tight but comfortable on the head.

• If the helmet is too large (wiggly, can’t be tightened securely) or

too small (pressure, forehead is uncovered) please select the next

larger or smaller size helmet.

• Do not use the helmet if you are unable to correctly adjust it.

Adjusting the chin strap

The overall length of the chin strap is adjusted with loop.

Adjust the position of the chin strap using the strap divider.

Be sure the strap distributor is not bothersome. We recommend posi-

tioning it at the end of the ear pad (Fig. C).

Harness adjustment

You can use the rotary knob to adjust the width of the helmet to the

circumference of your head for an optimal ﬁt. Turn the knob to the

left to increase the size of the headband and to the right to make the

headband narrower (ﬁgure D).

Headband height adjustment

The height of the headband system can be adjusted individually. 3

diﬀerent height settings are available.

Loosen the comfort cushion at the back of the helmet that is secured

by hook-and-loop fastening. Pull the connecting pin of the headband

system out of its snap-in point on the layer of padding. You are now

able to attach the pin of the headband system higher or lower at the

other snap-in points. Press the pin into the snap-in point until you hear

and feel that it engages. (ﬁg. F).

Removable ear pads

Pull the ear pads forcefully until the tabs on the ear pads are relea-

sed from the helmet. Open the chin strap and remove the ear pads.

In order to attach the ear pads, thread the ends of the open chin

strap through the tabs on the ear pads, and insert the tab into the hel-

met slit (ﬁgure E). Please pay attention to the left and right markings

(L/R) on the corresponding ear pads. When you remove the ear pad-

ding, please ensure that there is no tension exercised on the loops in

order to prevent them from being damaged.

Safety instructions

• The helmet must fit securely and the chin strap must be firmly

closed.

• Do not tip the helmet back as this will leave your forehead unpro-

tected. The straps must be positioned over the jaw bones (Fig. B).

• Do not wear any head covering under the helmet.

• Ensure that the airflow inside the helmet is not restricted.

• Do not make any changes to the helmet, its structure or the

individual components.

• Do not paint the helmet or put stickers or labels on it.

• The helmet is intended to protect your head in the event of an im-

pact. After just one (even light) impact this protection is no longer

guaranteed. Discontinue using the helmet after an impact or colli-

sion, rendered unusable and disposed of, even if there is no visible

damage.

• The lifespan of the helmet depends on its use. However the helmet

should be changed five years after the date of manufacture at the

latest.

• Do not use petroleum-containing solvents or detergents to clean

either the interior or exterior of your helmet. Use pH-neutral soap

diluted in clean water, and rub it into the helmet carefully using a

soft cloth. Wipe dry with a fluff-free cloth. The ear cushions can be

cleaned with a little soap and a soft brush. The visor should be

cleaned with soap and water only, and left to air-dry.

Do not expose the visor to sources of heat!

• Only use genuine spare parts for your helmet.

• Do not allow children to wear this helmet while climbing or playing

as this carries a risk of strangulation.

Ear buds/headphones

Please follow these safety precautions when using ear buds or

headphones:

Danger!

• Never use headphones or ear buds whilst skiing or

snowboarding!

•During ascent or while waiting be sure to keep the volume at a

level that allows you to hear all ambient noise and announcements.

• Not observing announcements e.g. of the mountain rescue service

may result in a life threatening situation!

• Be sure the cables is not bothersome or protrudes from your body.

Risk of strangulation if wires get caught e.g. on the lift or other

skiers.

• You may be unable to hear warning signals from snow groomers

and not hear or be oblivious to other skiers on the run, and your

sense of balance could be impaired.

Servicing and maintenance

Regular servicing and maintenance contributes to the safety and

preservation of the helmet.

• Always use pH-neutral soap diluted in clear water, and rub careful-

ly with a soft cloth. Afterwards wipe dry with a fluff-free cloth.

• The cushion can be cleaned with a little soap and a soft brush.

Inside cushion

• Hand wash below 30 °C.

Transport

Transport the helmet in a box in order to protect it against crushing

(e.g. in the suitcase or car boot).

Storage

When not in use, store the helmet in a dry and well ventilated place

at room temperature. Avoid sources of heat.

Disposal instructions

Dispose of the article and the packaging materials in accordance

with current local regulations.

Packaging materials such as foil bags are not suitable to be given to

children. Keep the packaging materials out of the reach of children.

Notes on the guarantee and service

handling

The product was produced with great care and under constant

supervision. You receive a three-year warranty for this product from

the date of purchase. Please retain your receipt.

The warranty applies only to material and workmanship and does

not apply to misuse or improper handling. Your statutory rights, espe-

cially the warranty rights, are not aﬀected by this warranty.

With regard to complaints, please contact the following service

hotline or contact us by e-mail. Our service employees will advise as

to the subsequent procedure as quickly as possible.

We will be personally available to discuss the situation with you.

Any repairs under the warranty, statutory guarantees or through

goodwill do not extend the warranty period. This also applies to

replaced and repaired parts. Repairs after the warranty are subject

Egy A osztályú sisak egy nagy teljesítményű védősisak síelőknek

és snowboardozóknak. Egy B osztályú sisak egy olyan sisak a

síelőknek és snowboardozóknak, amelynél az előírások valamivel

kevésbé korlátozóak.

A sisak méretének kiválasztása

• Mérje meg feje kerületét és eszerint válassza ki a sisak méretét.

Próbáljon fel több sisakot, mielőtt dönt. Ideális esetben

halántékbőre együtt mozog a felhelyezett sisakkal.

• Bizonyosodjon meg róla, hogy a sisak az állpánt feszesre

húzása nélkül sem helyezkedik el lazán a fejen.

• A biztos védelemhez az állpántot szorosan be kell kapcsolni.

Az állpánt akkor van helyesen felhelyezve, ha ujját csak nehezen

tudja a pánt alá dugni. Ugyanakkor még kényelmesen kell tudjon

lélegezni, nyelni és a fejét fordítani.

• A sisak akkor ül helyesen, ha szorosan, de mégis kényelmesen ül

a fejen.

• Ha a sisak túl nagy (inog, nem lehet elég szorosan meghúzni)

vagy túl kicsi (nyom, a homlokot szabadon hagyja), kérjük,

válassza helyette a következő nagyobb vagy kisebb méretet.

• Ha a sisakot nem lehet a fejhez korrekten illeszteni, nem szabad

használni.

Az állszíj beállítása

Az állszíj általános hosszát az hurokkal tudja beállítani.

A szíjelosztóval beállíthatja az állszíj pozícióját. Ügyeljen azonban

arra, hogy a heveder-elosztó Önt ne zavarja. Ajánljuk, hogy a

fülpárna végére helyezze el (C. ábra).

Fejpánt-bőségállítás

A forgatható gombbal saját fejméretéhez igazíthatja a sisakot, hogy

az optimálisan illeszkedjen a fejére. Ha balra fordítja a gombot,

azáltal lazábbra állítja a sisak fejpántját, ha pedig jobbra, azáltal

szorosabbra (D. ábra).

Fejpánt magasságának beállítása

A fejpántrendszer magasságát egyénileg lehet beállítani. Három

különböző beállítás létezik.

Oldja ki a sisak hátsó részén tépőzárral rögzített párnázást. Húzza

ki a fejpántrendszer rögzítőtűjét a tompító rétegen lévő lyukból.

A fejpántrendszer tűjét így behelyezheti az eggyel fentebb vagy

lentebb lévő lyukba. Nyomja be a tűt olyan szorosan a lyukba, hogy

hallhatóan és érezhetően a helyére kattanjon (F ábra).

Kivehető fülpárna

Húzza erősen a fülpárnákat, amíg a fülpárnák szíja ki nem jön a

sisakból. Nyissa ki az állszíjat, és távolítsa el a fülpárnákat.

A fülpárnák behelyezéséhez dugja át a kinyitott állszíjat a fülpárnák

kampóin, és helyezze a szíjat a sisak nyílásába (E ábra). Ügyeljen a

fülpárnán lévő bal és jobb (L/R) jelzésekre.

A fülpárna levételénél ügyeljen arra, hogy ne húzza meg a hurkot,

nehogy megsérüljön.

Biztonsági tudnivalók

• A sisak stabilan illeszkedjen és az állpánt szorosan zárva legyen.

• Ne tolja fel a feje búbjára a sisakot, mert ekkor a homloka nem

lesz védett. Az állszíjat az állcsont alatt kell átvezetni (B. ábra).

• Ne hordjon fejfedőt a sisak alatt.

• Bizonyosodjon meg róla, hogy a levegőkeringés ne korlátozódjon.

• A sisakon, annak szerkezetén vagy egyes elemein való változtatás

nem megengedett.

• A sisakot befesteni, arra matricákat vagy etiketteket ragasztani nem

szabad.

• A sisak bukás esetén védi a fejet. Akár csak egyetlen (még csekély)

bukás is megszüntetheti ezt a védelmet. Egy esés vagy bukás után

a sisakot nem szabad tovább használni, használhatatlanná kell

tenni és le kell selejtezni, még akkor is, ha csak csekély sérülések

láthatók rajta.

• A sisak élettartama a használattól függ. Azonban a gyártástól

számított legalább ötévente le kell cserélni a sisakot.

• A sisak tisztításához soha nem szabad petróleumtartalmú oldatot

vagy súrolószert használni, sem kívül, sem belül. Használjon

mindig pH-semleges mosószert tiszta vízben oldva, egy puha

kendővel óvatosan dörzsölje át a sisakot. Ezután törölje szárazra

egy nem bolyhozó kendővel. A párnázás kevés szappannal és

puha kefével tisztítható.

• Csak eredeti cserealkatrészeket használjon sisakjához.

• Gyermekek nem használhatják a sisakot a mászókán vagy más

játék közben, ahol fulladásveszély áll fenn!

Fülhallgató/fejhallgató

Fül-vagy fejhallgató használatánál tartsa be az alábbi biztonsági

utasításokat:

Vigyázat, életveszély!

• Síelés vagy hódeszkázás közben tilos fej- vagy

fülhallgatót használni!

• Hegynek fel vagy várakozási idők alatt a hangerőt mindig úgy

állítsa be, hogy az összes környyezeti zajt és bemondást meg tudja

hallani.

• A hegyi rendőrök bemondásainak be nem tartásából életveszély is

keletkezhet!

• Ügyeljen arra, hogy a fejhallgató kábelét ne törje meg és az ne

álljon el a testétől. Megfojthatja, ha pl. Ön fennakad a liften vagy

más síelőkön.

• A pályafelvonók és más síelők ﬁgyelmeztető jeleit félrehallhatja

vagy nem veszi ﬁgyelembe, sőt, az egyensúlyérzékét is

hátrányosan befolyásolhatja.

Karbantartás és ápolás

A rendszeres karbantartás és ápolás a sisak biztonságosságát és

tartósságát szolgálja.

• Használjon mindig pH-semleges mosószert tiszta vízben oldva,

egy puha kendővel óvatosan dörzsölje át a sisakot.

Ezután törölje szárazra egy nem bolyhozó kendővel.

• A párnázás kevés szappannal és puha kefével tisztítható.

Béléspárna

• Kézi mosás 30 °C alatt.

Szállítás

A sisakot szállítsa dobozban, hogy megóvja a sérülésektől (pl. a

kók, nem kerülhetnek gyermekek kezébe. A csomagolóanyagot
