Hazards caused by accessories
■ Disconnect the circular and oscillating sawing machines and
sawing machines with reciprocating saw blades from the power
supply before mounting or replacing the machine tool or acces-
sories.
■ Only use accessories and consumables of sizes and types recom-
mended by the manufacturer of circular and oscillating sawing
machines or sawing machines with reciprocating saw blades.
Do not use other sizes and types of accessories and consumables.
■ Avoid direct contact with accessories before and after using the
machine tool, as they may be warm or sharp-edged.
■ Check the saw blade before use.
Do not use saw blades that may have fallen off, or parts that
have been knocked off, torn, or otherwise damaged.
Hazards in the workplace
■ Slipping, tripping and falling are the main causes of injuries in the
workplace. Look out for surfaces which could have become slip-
pery through use of the machine, and also any tripping hazards
caused by air or hydraulic hoses.
■ Proceed with caution in unknown surroundings. Hidden hazards
caused by power or other supply lines may be present.
■ These circular and oscillating sawing machines or these sawing
machines with reciprocating saw blades are not intended for use
in explosive atmospheres and are not insulated against contact
with electrical cables.
■ Make sure that there are no electrical lines, gas pipelines, etc.,
which could lead to a hazard in the event of damage due to the
use of the machine.
