Ski & Snowboarding Helmet EH-1430

Important information

Before using your new helmet please take a moment to read the

following instructions for its use and care.

This helmet was developed for skiing and snowboarding and is

manufactured using state of the art processes. However, even the

highest safety standards do not exclude the possibility of injury

in a serious accident. The impact may be so great that the helmet

will not oﬀer its wearer eﬀective head protection. Conformity with

the demands of Appendix II of the European directive 89 / 686 /

European Economic Community (and later modiﬁcations) as well as

with those of the harmonising technical norm class EN1077:2007 B

was certiﬁed by the oﬃcials responsible at the TÜV Süd Product

Service GmbH, Ridlerstraße 65, 80339 München, Notiﬁed Body No

0123. A Class A helmet is a high performance protective helmet for

skiers and snowboarders. A Class B helmet is a helmet for skiers and

snowboarders for which the requirements are a little less restrictive.

A Class B helmet can thus oﬀer more air circulation and comfort,

without giving up too much protection. Class A and class B helmets are

for alpine skiers, snowboarders and similar groups. Class A helmets

oﬀer comparatively more protection Class B helmets can oﬀer more

ventilation and allow better hearing. However, they protect a smaller

area of the head and give a lower measure of protection.

This ski helmet is suitable for use with ski goggles.

Be sure the ski goggles accurately ﬁt into the helmet opening and

doesn’t press into the bridge of your nose when the helmet is tightly

closed.

Safety instructions

• The helmet must fit securely and the chin strap must be firmly closed.

• Do not push the helmet onto your neck,

as then your forehead is not protected.

• Do not wear any head covering under

the helmet.

• Ensure that the airflow inside the helmet is not restricted.

• Do not make any changes to the helmet, its structure, or the

individual components.

• Do not paint the helmet or put stickers or labels on it.

• The helmet is designed to absorb the energy of even a light

collision by destroying some of its components. Should another

collision occur, protection can therefore no longer be guaranteed.

After an accident, the helmet must be replaced even if no external

damage is visible.

• Do not use petroleum-containing solvents or detergents to clean

either the interior or exterior of your helmet. Use pH-neutral soap

diluted in clean water, and rub it into the helmet carefully using

a soft cloth. Wipe dry with a fluff-free cloth. The ear cushions can be

cleaned with a little soap and a soft brush. The visor should be

cleaned with soap and water only, and left to air-dry. Do not expose

the visor to sources of heat!

• Only use genuine spare parts for your helmet.

• Do not allow children to wear this helmet while climbing

or playing as this carries a risk of strangulation.

Ear buds/headphones

Please follow these safety precautions when using ear buds or

headphones:

Danger!

• Never use headphones or ear buds while skiing!

•During ascent or while waiting be sure to keep the volume at a

level that allows you to hear all ambient noise and announcements.

• Not observing announcements e.g. of the mountain rescue service

may result in a life threatening situation!

• Be sure the cables is not bothersome or protrudes from your body.

Risk of strangulation if wires get caught e.g. on the lift or other

skiers.

• You may be unable to hear warning signals from snow groomers

and not hear or be oblivious to other skiers on the run, and your

sense of balance could be impaired.

Pure by HeiQ

Pure is an anti-bacterial silver-based odour-inhibitor for sports and

recreational garments. Developed and manufactured by the Swiss

High-Tech company HeiQ

The microﬁbres of the helm lining are treated with an innovative,

anti-bacterial silver technology. For centuries already silver has been

known its anti-bacterial eﬀect. HeiQ

has compounded these proper-

ties to eﬀectively and permanently prevent odours .

Adjusting the chin strap

The overall length of the chin strap is adjusted with loop. The length

of the chin strap can also be adjusted with the strap distributor clip.

Be sure the strap distributor is not bothersome. We recommend posi-

tioning it at the end of the ear pad.

Function of the rotary wheel

(Headband width adjustment)

With the inﬁnitely variable rotary wheel you can adjust the helmet

to the size of your head in order to guarantee an optimum helmet

ﬁt. Push the rotary wheel in the direction of the top of the helmet to

adjust the width (ﬁg. 2).

(Headband height adjustment)

The height of the headband system can be individually adjusted.

There are 3 diﬀerent height settings.

Pull the headband system connection pin out of the EPS shell locking

points (ﬁg. 3). You can now set the headband system connection pin

in one of the two other height position locking points. Press the pin

into the locking point ﬁrmly so that you can hear and feel it click into

place.

Servicing and maintenance

Regular servicing and maintenance contributes to the safety and

preservation of the helmet.

• Always use pH-neutral soap diluted in clear water, and rub

carefully with a soft cloth. Afterwards wipe dry with a fluff-free cloth.

• The cushion can be cleaned with a little soap and a soft brush.

Ear cushions

• Hand wash below 30 °C.

• Allow to dry at room temperature.

Storage

When not in use, store the helmet in a dry and well ventilated place

at room temperature. Avoid sources of heat.

Disposal instructions

Dispose of the product and all its components through a licensed

disposal company or your municipal disposal facilities.

Please observe the current regulations. If in doubt, consult your

disposal facility about an environmentally friendly disposal.

Suggestions for purchase

• Choose your helmet by measuring the circumference of your head

with a ﬂexible tape measure. Always try on a couple of diﬀerent

sizes before buying. When wearing the helmet, the skin of your

temples should move with it.

30°C/86°F

• Make sure that the helmet does not move around too much when

the chin strap is open.

• The chin strap must ﬁt securely. It should sit comfortably under the

chin, as far back towards the neck as possible. Fasten it as tight as

possible. It is correctly ﬁtted when you ﬁnd it diﬃcult to insert your

ﬁnger between the chinstrap and neck, yet are still able to breathe

and swallow easily. Make sure that the helmet does not restrict

your movements, e.g. when turning your head to look behind you.

3 Years Warranty

The product was manufactured with the greatest care and regular

testing. This product comes with a 3-year warranty as of the date of

purchase. Please keep the receipt. The warranty only covers material

and production errors and will not cover improper or inappropriate

handling. Your legal rights, in particular statutory rights are not

restricted with this warranty. In the event of a warranty matter, please

email. In any case, we will be more than happy to provide you with

personal advice. In the event of a warranty matter, defect parts can

be shipped cash on delivery to the indicated service-address in coor-

dination with our service-colleagues. Subsequently you will promptly

receive a new or repaired part free of charge. The warranty period

will not be extended due to any repairs based on warranty, statutory

guarantee or fair dealing. This also applies to replaced and repaired

parts. Any repairs required after the warranty has expired are

chargeable.

Važne informacije

Prije prvog korištenja vaše nove kacige, molimo, pročitajte pažljivo

slijedeće upute i informacije. Ova kaciga je specijalno razvijena za

skijanje i Snowboard-vožnju i izrađena po najnovijim dostignućima

tehnike. Usprkos najvišem standardu sigurnosti može kod teških

nesreća doći do ozljeda. U nekim slučajevima može sudar biti tako

snažan, da kaciga ne može efektivno štititi vozača od ozljeda glave.

Da kaciga ispunjava propise Europske smjernice 89/686/EWG

(i kasnije promijene) s Dodatkom II, kao i harmonizirane tehničke

norme EN1077:2007 klasa B, potvrđeno je od stane TEHNIČKE

NADZORNE UDRUGE (TÜV) Süd Product Service GmbH,

Ridlerstraße 65, 80339 München, Notiﬁed Body No 0123, koja je

izdala potvrdu. Kaciga klase A je jedna zaštitna kaciga visokog

učinka za skijaše i Snowboard-vozače. Kaciga klase B je kaciga

sa skijaše i Snowboard-vozače, kod koje su zahtjevi nešto manje

ograničeni. Zato može kaciga klase B nuditi više zračenja i komfora,

bez puno ustupanja sigurnosti. Kacige klase A i klase B su za alpinske

skijaše, Snowboard-vozače i slične grupe. Kacige klase A nude

prosječno više zaštite. Kacige klase B mogu pružiti više ventilacije i

nude bolji sluh, ali štite manji dio glave i daju manji stupanj prodorno-

sti otpora. Ova skijaška kaciga je prikladna za upotrebu sa skijaškim

naočalama. Obratite pažnju na to da vam skijaške naočale točno

naliježu u izrez kacige i da ne pritiskuju nos, kad ste čvrsto zatvorili

kacigu.

Sigurnosne upute

• Kaciga mora čvrsto sjediti i remen za bradu mora biti čvrsto

zatvoren.

• Ne gurajte kacigu u zatiljak, jer inače

vaše čelo neće biti zaštićeno.

• Nemojte nositi nikakve marame na glavi ispod kacige.

• Utvrdite da se ne ograničava cirkulacija zraka.

• Na kacigi se ne smiju vršiti nikakve promjene, njezine strukture, ili

pojedinih dijelova.

• Kaciga se ne smije pobojati, ne smije se oblijepiti s naljepnicama ili

etiketama.

• Kaciga treba zaštititi glavu u slučaju sudara. Nakon samo jednog

jedinog sudara (i laganog) ova zaštita nije više zajamčena.

Zbog toga se kaciga mora poslije jedne nesreće odmah zamijeniti,

i onda, ako se ne vidi nikakvo oštećenje.

• Kod čišćenja kacige izvana i iznutra, ne smiju se nikada upotreb-

ljavati otapala koja sadrže petrolej ili abrazivna sredstva.

Koristite samo uvijek pH-neutralno sredstvo za čišćenje razrijeđeno

s čistom vodom; s mekanom krpom pažljivo protrljajte. Poslije toga

osušite s krpom koja ne pušta vlakanca. Podstava se može čistiti s

malo sapuna i mekanom četkom.

• Upotrebljavajte samo originalne dijelove za vašu kacigu.

• Kacige ne smiju nositi djeca kod penjanja ili drugih igara, kod kojih

postoji opasnost od davljenja!

Slušalice/slušalice na glavi

Kada koristite slušalice ili slušalice na glavi, molimo vas da obratite

pažnju na slijedeće sigurnosne upute:

Postoji opasnost „davljena“, ako npr. ostanete visjeti na dizalu ili

na drugim skijašima.

• Upozoravajući znakovi ralica koja odvrtaju snijeg ili drugih skijaša

na pisti, mogu ostati neprimjećeni, osjećaj za ravnotežu može biti

poremećen.

proizvedeno od švicarske High-Tech tvrtke HeiQ

. Mikro vlakna

podstave kacige su opremljena sa antibakterijskim djelovanjem na

bazi tehnologije srebra. Antibakterijsko djelovanje srebra je već

stoljećima poznato. HeiQ

je to djelovanje još dalje pojačao, kako

bi se djelotvorno i trajno spriječilo stvaranje mirisa.

Podešavanje remena za bradu

Ukupnu duljinu remena za bradu možete podesiti pomoću petlje.

S kopčom razvodnika remena možete također podesiti duljinu reme-

na za bradu. Obratite pažnju na to, da vam razvodnik remena ne

smeta. Preporučamo položaj na završetku podstave za uho.

Funkcija kotačića za okretanje

(Podešavanje širine trake za glavu)

S kotačićem možete kontinuirano podesiti kacigu i prilagoditi je

opsegu vaše glave, kako bi se zajamčilo optimalno stajanje kacige.

Pritisnite kotačić u smjeru vrha kacige, da bi namjestili širinu (slika 2).

Visina sustava trake za glavu se može individualno podesiti.

Postoje 3 različite visine podešavanja.

Izvucite povezne pinove sustava trake za glavu iz urezanih točaka

EPS oklopa (slika 3). Pinove sustava trake za glavu možete sada

pričvrstiti u urezane točke na dva različita položaja visine. Pritisnite

pinove tako jako u urezane točke, da čujete i osjetite kako uskoće.

Održavanje i njegovanje

Redovito održavanje i njega pridonosi sigurnosti i očuvanju kacige.

• Koristite uvijek pH-neutralno sredstvo za čišćenje razrijeđeno s

čistom vodom; s mekanom krpom pažljivo protrljajte. Poslije toga

osušite s krpom koja ne pušta vlakanca.

• Podstava se može čistiti s malo sapuna i mekanom četkom.

Podstava za uši

• Ručno pranje na temperaturi

ispod 30 °C.

• Kod sobne temperature osušiti.

Pohranjivanje

Dok kacigu ne koristite pospremite je na suhom i dobro prozračnom

mjestu kod sobne temperature. Izbjegavajte izvore topline.

Uputa za zbrinjavanje otpada

Odstranite proizvod i sve njemu pripadne dijelove preko nadležnog

poduzeća za zbrinjavanje otpada ili preko vaše komunalne ustanove

za zbrinjavanje otpada. Pridržavajte se važećih aktualnih propisa.

Informirajte se u nedoumici kod vaše ustanove za zbrinjavanje otpa-

da o zbrinjavanju koje ne škodi okolišu.

Prijedlozi za vašu kupnju

• Izmjerite opseg vaše glave i tada izaberite veličinu vaše kacige.

Isprobajte nekoliko kaciga prije nego što se odlučite.

Kod stavljene kacige u idealnom slučaju giba se zajedno koža na

vašim sljepoočicama.

• Provjerite, da kaciga nema veliku slobodu gibanja na glavi i onda

dok remen za bradu nije čvrsto privučen.

• Za sigurno stajanje mora remen za bradu biti čvrsto zatvoren.

On stoji ispravno, ako vam je teško da ispod remena provučete

vaše prste. Ali vi morate ipak uvijek još udobno disati, gutati i moći

okretati vašu glavu.

3 godine jamstva

Proizvod je izrađen uz veliku brižljivost i pod stalnom kontrolom.

Za ovaj proizvod dobivate tri godine jamstva od kupovnog datuma.

Citiți cu atenție următoarele instrucțiuni și informații înainte de

prima utilizare a căștii dumneavoastră. Această casca a fost creată

pentru schi și snowboard și nisată conform noilor tehnici. În

ciuda standardelor de siguranță ridicate, poate exista pericolul

de accidente grave. În anumite cazuri, impactul poate  atât

de puternic astfel încât casca nu poate proteja în mod ecient

schiorul. Conformitatea cu cerințele conform anexei II a directivei

Casca de protecțiedin clasa A este o cască care oferă maximă

protecție pentru schior și snowboarder. Casca de protecție, clasa

B este o cască pentru schiori și snowboarderi ale căror cerințe

lare. Căștile din clasa A oferă mai multă siguranță. Căștile din clasa

B oferă mai multă aerisire și un auz mai ridicat, dar protejează o

suprafață mai mică a capului și oferă o rezistență mai scăzută la

penetrare. Daceastă cască de schi se utilizează cu ochelari de schi.

Trebuie să vă asigurați că ochelarii dvs. de schi sunt poziționați

corespunzător și că nu apasă pe nas atunci când ați închis bine

casca.

Indicații de siguranță

• Casca trebuie fixată bine și curelușele de prindere de sub

bărbie trebuie închise bine.

• Nu împingeți casaca spre ceafă,

deoarece fruntea nu va mai fi protejată.

• Nu trebuie să aveți capul acoperit pe sub cască.

• Asigurați-vă că circulația aerului nu este obstrucționată.

• Casca ar trebui să protejeze capul în cazul unei căzături.

După câteva căzături (ușoare) această protecție a căștii nu mai

este asigurată. După un accident casca trebuie înlocuită imedi-

at, chiar daca nu prezintă deteriorări vizibile.

• Pentru curățarea căștii nu trebuie să utilizați solvenți sau

agenți de curățare abrazivi, pe interior sau exterior.

Folosiți întotdeauna un detergent cu pH neutru dizolvat în

apă; frecați cu o lavetă moale. Apoi ștergeți cu o lavetă fără

scame până se usucă. Luciul poate fi curățat cu puțin săpun și

o perie moale.

• Utilizați doar piese de rezervă originale pentru casca dvs.

• Căștile nu trebuie purtate de copii, pentru alpinism sau pentru

alte sporturi în care poate apărea pericolul de strangulare!

Căștile audio

Dacă utilizați căști audio trebuie să urmați următoarele indicații

de siguranță:

Atenție pericol de moarte!

• Nu utilizați niciodată în timpul schiatului căști audio!

• În timpul urcării pe munte sau a perioadelor de

așteptare, regalți intensitatea sunetului astfel încât să

puteți auzi zgomotele înconjurătoare și vocile.

• În cazul în care nu auziți indicațiile vocale de ex. cele are

salvamontului poate apărea pericolul de moarte!

• Trebuie să verificați dacă cablul căștilor că deranjează și nu

se prinde de corp. Poate apărea pericolul de ”strangulare”, dacă

rămâneți agățați de telecabină sau alți schiori.
