Intended use

This item is designed solely for “Nordic walking” in

the private domain. This item is provided with a car-

bide tip for use oﬀ road, on ice or on other smooth

surfaces. It is also equipped with an asphalt pad

which can be attached and removed easily when

walking on asphalt or other hard surfaces.

This Nordic walking pole is not suitable for alpine

skiing.

Safety instructions

Important: please read this user manual

thoroughly and keep it in a safe place!

Danger to life!

• Never leave children unsupervised with the

packaging material. This presents a danger of

suﬀocation.

• It is recommended that you use a heart-rate

monitor.

• If the user has been diagnosed with cardiovascu-

lar problems, a doctor should be consulted be-

fore performing this type of sport.

• Avoid practising sports at night, or use reﬂectors

which can be worn on the body at dusk or dawn.

Risk of injury!

• Check the item for damage before use. The straps

and the carbon pipe in particular must be unda-

maged!

• Wear sport shoes with a good tread and lateral

support.

• Defective items must not be used due to the risk of

injury!

• Avoid public roads wherever possible.

• Nordic walking poles are not suitable for alpine

skiing.

• Check that the strap clip is securely in place

before every use.

• Wear gloves in cold weather.

• On longer tours, you should ensure that you take

enough to drink (possibly use a drinks belt or a

drinks backpack).

• Wear clothing suitable for the weather.

• Start in a ﬂat environment – 30 minutes of

Nordic walking is the equivalent of approxi-

mately 50 minutes of walking without poles.

• Maintain a steady pace so that you are still able

to have a conversation while walking.

• To prevent injuries or damage to the item, the item

should be transported safely when not in use, e.g.

attach the item to a backpack.

Features

Fibreglass matrix carbon

This pole contains carbon combined with highly

elastic glass ﬁbre to form a shaft material which

is excellent at softening vibrations when walking.

This relieves the elbow, hand and shoulder joints

(especially important on asphalt or during intensive

training).

Grip

The ergonomic shape oﬀers outstanding support for

the hand in the transfer of force.

Carbide tips

Extremely durable, set in shatterproof, ﬂexible

plastic. For optimal transfer of force and support

on country lanes, in the forest or oﬀ road.

Tip guard

Integrated tip guard: prevents the tip sinking too

deep on soft ground.

Asphalt pad

Made from TPR plastic to protect the metal tips.

For smooth grounds such as roads, asphalt or stone.

The tip points backwards when pushing oﬀ.

When you are not using the asphalt pad, it can be

stored on the holder attached to the pole.

Asphalt pad holder

The asphalt pad holder is attached directly to the

pole. You can adjust the position of the holder by

loosening the red rubber ring and then moving the

holder. Secure the holder in its new position once

again using the rubber ring in order to secure it

suﬃciently.

Pole length – work out the right

size:

The poles are available in four diﬀerent lengths.

You can calculate the right pole length by multi-

plying your height by 0.68. To make this easier for

you, the sizes are listed in the table below.

Simply round the result up or down to the nearest

available pole length

Putting on the hand straps

Put your hand into the hand strap from underneath

and then strap the Velcro around the inside of the

wrist so that the letters R/L can be read (Fig. B).

The wave symbol must be on the back of the hand

(Fig. C).

Note: pay attention to the marking R for

the right hand strap and L for the left hand

strap.

Quick removal of the straps

from the handle grip

Push the button downwards with your thumb and

then pull the straps out of the holder (Fig. D).

To secure the hand straps, simply push the clip back

into the opening clasp with a little force.

When doing this, make sure the clip is in the correct

position! The clips must be at the height of your

thumb and foreﬁnger (Fig. E).

Warming up/stretching

You should perform plenty of warm-up and stretching

exercises before walking (Fig. F).

Nordic walking technique

Nording walking is a combination of walking and

Scandinavian cross-country skiing (hence Nordic).

Lifting the Nordic walking poles oﬀ the ground sup-

ports forward movement. This means that the chest,

shoulder and arm muscles get a more intensive

workout. Nordic walking is quick and easy to learn

(see Fig. G).

Cleaning and maintenance

To clean the Nordic walking poles, you can use a

cloth soaked in lukewarm water or soapy water.

Never clean the Nordic walking poles with solvent-

based or strong cleaning agents. These may aﬀect

thickener materials and markings and cause long-

term damage.

Disposal

Please dispose of the product and packaging in

an environmentally friendly manner, separating

diﬀerent materials for recycling as required!

Dispose of this item through an authorised disposal

company or through your local waste disposal

facilities - ask your local authority for information if

further guidance is required. Ensure that you comp-

ly with all regulations currently in force.

3 years warranty

The product was produced with great care and

under constant supervision. You receive a three-year

warranty for this product from the date of purchase.

Please retain your receipt.

The warranty applies only to material and workman-

ship and does not apply to misuse or improper hand-

ling. Your statutory rights, especially the warranty

rights, are not aﬀected by this warranty.

Matrix Carbon z włókna szklanego

W kijku tym węgiel jest połączony z bardzo elasty-

cznym włóknem szklanym tworząc materiał, który

Ergonomiczny kształt zapewnia doskonałe wsparcie

dla dłoni przy przenoszeniu siły.

Groty z twardego metalu

Bardzo trwałe, umieszczone w odpornym na

pęknięcia, amortyzującym tworzywie sztucznym.

Dla optymalnego przenoszenia siły i przyczepności

na polnych drogach, w lesie lub w terenie.

Osłona grotu

Zintegrowana osłona grotu: zapobiega zbyt

głębokiemu wnikaniu w miękkie podłoża.

Nakładka do asfaltu

Z przyczepnego tworzywa sztucznego TPR do

ochrony metalowych grotów. Do gładkich podłóż

jak ulica, asfalt lub kamień. W celu odepchnięcia

końcówka wskazuje do tyłu. Jeśli nie korzysta się z

nakładki do asfaltu można ją umieścić w uchwycie

przymocowanym do kijka.

Uchwyt na nakładkę do asfaltu

Uchwyt na nakładkę do asfaltu jest przymocowany

bezpośrednio do kijka. Można zmienić pozycję uch-

wytu, w tym celu należy zdjąć czerwony pierścień

gumowy, a następnie przesunąć uchwyt.

W nowej pozycji należy ponownie zamocować uch-

wyt wykorzystując gumowy pierścień, aby osiągnąć

wystarczające umocowanie.
