Montageanleitung

1 Zu Ihrer Sicherheit

Die grundsätzliche Befestigung ist so zu wählen,

dass ein Herunterfallen des Geräts vermieden wird!

1.1 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Das Halteseil dient zur Befestigung von kompatiblen SICK-Sen-

soren bei Montage in großen Höhen, speziell zur Sicherung des

Geräts während der Montage.

Kompatible Sensoren sind z. B. LMS1000, MRS1000, LMS5xx,

LMS1xx. Für weitere Informationen zur Kompatibilität des

1.2 Bestimmungswidrige Verwendung

Das Halteseil ist nicht schleppkettentauglich.

2 Montage

2.1 Montagehinweise

■ Das Halteseil hat eine Länge von 2 m. Zur Verringerung des Fall-

wegs muss das Seil mit der Bügelseilklemme auf die minimal

erforderliche Länge gekürzt werden.

■ Die Zugfestigkeit beträgt min. 4000 N.

■ Das Halteseil sollte befestigt werden, bevor mit der Montage

des Geräts begonnen wird und sollte erst gelöst werden, wenn

die Demontage des Geräts abgeschlossen ist.

■ Die Montage muss durch fachkundiges Personal erfolgen.

■ Die Montage von Gerät und Halteseil muss an einer festen und

belastbaren Struktur erfolgen.

■ Montieren Sie das Halteseil entsprechend der folgenden Be-

scheibung, um die Funktionalität zu gewährleisten.

■ Bei jeder Gerätewartung ist der feste Sitz der Schrauben zu

prüfen.

■ Das Halteseil muss nach einem Sturz ausgetauscht werden.

■ Nach einem Sturz muss der Sensor durch den Hersteller auf

Beschädigungen geprüft werden.

1 For your safety

Mount the device so that it is secured against

falling.

1.1 Intended use

The retaining cable is used to mount compatible SICK sensors

when installing in high places, and is used especially for securing

the device during mounting.

Some examples of compatible sensors are LMS1000, MRS1000,

LMS5xx, LMS1xx. For additional information on compatibility of

1.2 Improper use

The retaining cable is not suitable for drag chains.

2 Mounting

2.1 Mounting instructions

■ The retaining cable is 2 m long. The retaining cable must be

shortened to the minimum required length with the cable clamp

to minimize the drop distance.

■ The tensile strength is min. 4000 N.

■ The retaining cable must be fastened before mounting work be-

gins on the device and should not be released until disassembly

of the device is completed.

■ Only authorized personnel are permitted to perform the mount-

ing work.

■ The device and retaining cable must be mounted on a xed and

sturdy structure.

■ Mount the retaining cable according to the following description

to ensure functionality.

■ Make sure the screws are tightly fastened every time mainte-

nance work is done on the device.

■ The retaining cable must be replaced after a fall.

■ After a fall, the sensor must be tested for damage by the manu-

facturer.

2.2 Halteseil montieren

1. Das Halteseil mit dem Karabiner 1 an einer festen und belast-

baren Struktur befestigen.

2. Das Halteseil mit dem Haltewinkel 2 und den beiliegen-

den Schrauben 3 am Gerät befestigen, Anzugsmoment

max. 5 Nm.

3. Das Halteseil auf die Länge kürzen, die für die Montage min-

destens erforderlich ist. Hierzu die beiliegende Bügelseilklem-

me 4 verwenden, Anzugsmoment max. 5 Nm.

Zur Montage des Sensors die jeweilige Betriebsanleitung beachten.

2.2 Mounting retaining cable

1. Fasten the retaining cable to a xed and sturdy structure with

the carabiner 1.

2. Fasten the retaining cable to the device with the mounting

bracket 2 and the supplied screws 3, tightening torque

max. 5 Nm.

3. Shorten the retaining cable to the minimum distance required

for mounting. To do so, use the supplied cable clamp 4, tight-

ening torque max. 5 Nm.

Observe the respective operating instructions to mount the sensor.
