PBX cascading may only be carried out by
qualified experts. Please also follow the
safety instructions in the OpenCom's
“Mounting and Commissioning” guide.
Caution! Static charge can damage electronic
devices. Observe the regulations regarding
electrostatically sensitive components!
Danger! Dangerous voltage in device!
Disconnect master and slave system
from the mains supply!
With an OpenCom 510:
If a 1-12 frame is being powered by
two power supply units, pull both
mains plugs out of the power socket!

For detailed information on PBX Cascading, please refer to the “PBX Cascading” chapter
in the “Mounting and Commissioning” guide.
Licence information
For the PBX Cascading you will need a licence.
The licence agreement (included in the cascading set's scope of delivery) provides you with
the necessary steps to activate this function.
