high-quality product. The user guide is enclosed with
this product. It contains important information for safety,
operation and disposal. Make yourself familiar with all
the operating and safety instructions before starting
to use the product. Please use the product only as
described and for the areas of application indicated.
Hand all documents over along with the product when
the product is passed on to third parties.
Intended use
This appliance is only intended for temporary
heating of closed and dry rooms. The appliance is
not intended for use in rooms which are subject to
unusual environments, such as corrosive or explosive
atmospheres (dust, steam or gas). Do not use the
appliance outdoors. Any other use or modification of
the appliance is considered improper use and may give
rise to considerable danger resulting from accidents.
We do not accept any liability for damage resulting
from improper use. The appliance is intended for
private use only.

Use the appliance
only for the purpose described

Protection against electric

or if it has fallen into water, do

it must be replaced by the

Never use the appliance in the

Never touch the appliance, the
mains cable or the mains plug
with wet hands.
Always pull the mains supply
cable out using the plug. Never
pull on the cable itself.
Make sure that the mains cable
never gets kinked or crushed.
Make sure that the mains
cable is not damaged by sharp
edges.
Keep the mains cable away
from hot surfaces (e.g. cooker).
If you will not be using the
appliance for a long time,
unplug it
from the mains socket.
Only then will the appliance be
completely free of any electrical
current.
You should avoid using extension
cables. This can only be allowed
under very specific conditions:
The extension cable must be
suitable for the appliance’s
amperage.
The extension cable must not
be installed in such a way that
it becomes a tripping hazard
or is accessible to children.

There must be no combustible

of the appliance while it is in
operation.
Never use the appliance to dry
textiles or other things on, above
or in front of the appliance.
To avoid overheating, never
cover the appliance.
Never operate the appliance
in potentially explosive atmo-
spheres or in the vicinity of
flammable gases or liquids.
Never place the appliance
directly under a wall outlet, as the
heat generated could damage
the electrical installation.
Always make sure that the air
can circulate freely. Otherwise
there may be a build-up of heat
in the appliance.
Never leave the appliance
running unattended. Damage
is almost always indicated by
intensive smells. In this case,
disconnect the mains plug
immediately and have the
appliance checked.
Protection against injuries
Observe the

Make sure that the mains
connection cable never
becomes a tripping hazard or
that someone can get caught in
it or step on it.
Keep sufficient distance from
the appliance to prevent hair or
clothing from being sucked into
the appliance by the fan.

This device is not a toy for
children to play with! Cleaning
and user maintenance shall
not be carried out by children
without supervision.
Keep children under 3 years
of age away unless they are
continuously supervised.
Children aged from 3 to 8 may
only switch the appliance on
and off if they are supervised or
instructed in the safe use of the
appliance and have understood
the resulting dangers, provided
that the appliance has already
been placed or installed in
its normal operating position.
Children aged from 3 to 8 must
not plug the appliance into
a mains socket, adjust the
appliance, clean the appliance
and/or carry out maintenance.
Battery information
Incorrect handling of batteries

rinse with plenty of water. If the
chemicals get into your eyes,

Preparation for assembly
Remove all packaging materials and transport
locks from the appliance.
Check the items delivered for completeness and
damage.
In order to find a suitable location for wall mounting,
please observe the following information:
1. Mount the appliance at a minimum height of 30
cm with a sufficient distance from the ceiling of a
minimum of 100 cm. To ensure the best possible
heat distribution, however, we recommend a height
of 60 cm.
2. Make sure that the long mounting plate

is only
mounted horizontally on the wall.
3. Observe the dimensions of the product in the
section: “Technical data”.
Assembly
Note: Read the operating and safety information of
your drill carefully before beginning assembly!
To fix the long mounting plate

to the wall,
you need 4 holes at a distance of 110 mm
each. (see Fig. 1)
Drill 4 holes, 8 mm diameter and 26 mm deep to
use the dowels

and screws

supplied.
Place the dowels

in the holes once you have
cleared them of debris.
Now fasten the

or timer. Use the “+” and “-” keys to set the weekdays.
Press the button again to set the hours. The minutes
can be set by pressing the button again. The symbols

Operation via remote control
REMOTE CONTROL:
INSERTING OR REPLACING THE BATTERY
A lithium button cell is supplied with the remote cont-
rol. To operate the remote control, remove the plastic
strap that protrudes from the battery compartment

If the battery in the remote control needs to be repla-
ced, insert a new 3-volt lithium button cell. Pay attention
to the type of lithium button cell (CR2025).

Press once = 900 W, press twice = 1850 W.
To set the temperature during heating, press the “+
or “-” keys. The adjustable temperature range is
between 15 and 30°C.
Note: When setting the temperature
, please bear in
mind that the appliance does not heat if the desired
temperature is equal to or lower than the ambient
temperature. To heat, the set temperature must be at
least 1°C higher than the ambient temperature. This
is displayed automatically when the appliance is
switched on.
Overheating protection
For your safety, this appliance has overheat protection.
If the temperature inside the appliance becomes too
high, it switches off automatically:
1. Pull out the mains plug.
2. Allow the appliance to cool for at least 20
minutes.
3. Check that the ventilation grilles

are clear
and clean them with a soft, dry cloth.
4. Now restart the appliance. After that, you can
continue operating it normally.
If no cause can be found and the error occurs
repeatedly, have the appliance repaired or shut it
down.
Maintenance and cleaning
CAUTION! DANGER DUE TO ELECTRIC
SHOCK!
Before cleaning, unplug the mains plug
from the mains socket and allow appliance to
cool completely.
Clean the outside of the appliance with a soft
dry cloth. Never use liquids, especially those
containing petrol, or cleaning agents, as these
will damage the appliance.
Regularly remove dust and dirt from the
ventilation grilles using a vacuum cleaner.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date
of purchase. If this product has any faults, you, the buyer,
have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights are not
restricted in any way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the
date of purchase. Please keep your original receipt
in a safe place. This document will be required as
proof of purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within three
years of the date of purchase of the product, we will
either repair or replace the product for you at our
discretion. This warranty service is dependent on you
presenting the defective appliance and the proof of
purchase (receipt) and a short written description of
the fault and its time of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product
will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair
or replacement of a product does not signify the be-
ginning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effect-
ed under the warranty. This also applies to replaced
and repaired components. Any damage and defects
present at the time of purchase must be reported im-
mediately after unpacking. Repairs carried out after
expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.

Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance
with strict quality guidelines and inspected meticulous-
ly prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production faults.
The warranty does not extend to product parts subject
to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as switch-
es, batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been
damaged, improperly used or improperly main-
tained. The directions in the operating instructions for
the product regarding proper use of the product are to
be strictly followed. Uses and actions that are discour-
aged in the operating instructions or which are warned
against must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and not for
commercial purposes. The warranty shall be deemed
void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use of
force and modifications/repairs which have not been
carried out by one of our authorised Service centres.

Please have the till receipt and the item number (IAN

an engraving on the front page of the instructions

Disposal
The packaging is made of environmentally
friendly materials which you can dispose
of through the local recycling centres.
Do not dispose of the product with
domestic waste, but instead use the
communal collecting centres for material
recycling. You can find out the options
open to you for disposing of your used
appliance from your municipal or city
council.
Batteries must be recycled in accordance
with Directive 2006/66/EC and must
not be disposed of with household waste.
Every consumer is legally obliged to hand
in all batteries/rechargeable batteries at
a collection point in their municipality/
district or in a shop. This obligation aims
to ensure that batteries are disposed of in
an environmentally friendly manner. Only
return batteries when they have been ful-
ly discharged. Batteries must be removed
from the appliance before disposal.

Einleitung
