ACHTUNG!

In seltenen Fällen kann es passieren, dass sich die Kopfhörer durch

Wasserkontakt abschalten. Dies ist kein Gerätedefekt! Schütteln Sie

die Kopfhörer, damit das evtl. eingedrun gene Wasser aus dem Gehäuse

austritt. Lassen Sie die Kopfhörer anschließend bei Raumtemperatur

trocknen und prüfen Sie nach einiger Zeit (ca. 1 Stunde), ob sie sich

wieder einschalten lassen.

ATTENTION!

In rare cases, it is possible that the headphones switch oﬀ after contact

with water. This does not mean that the device is faulty! Shake

the headphones to get any water out of the housing. Then leave the

headphones to dry out at room temperature. After a short while

(approx. 1 hour) check to see if you can switch them on.

ATTENTION!

du boîtier. Laissez ensuite les écouteurs sécher à température ambiante

et vériﬁez au bout de quelque temps (1 heure environ) s'ils peuvent

être rallumés.

¡ATENCIÓN!

LET OP!

Heel soms kan het gebeuren dat de koptelefoon door contact met

water wordt uitgeschakeld. Dit is geen defect van het apparaat!

Schud de koptelefoon heen en weer om eventueel binnengedrongen

water uit de behuizing te laten lopen. Laat de koptelefoon daarna bij

kamertemperatuur opdrogen en controleer na enige tijd (ca. 1 uur)

of hij weer kan worden ingeschakeld.

POZOR!

Ve vyjímečných případech se může stát, že se sluchátka při styku

s vodou vypnou. Nejedná se o závadu přístroje! Sluchátky zatřeste,

aby z krytu vytekla případně vniknutá voda. Poté nechejte sluchátka

vysušit při pokojové teplotě a po určité době (cca 1 hodina) zkontrolujte,

zda je lze opět zapnout.

Intended use

These earbuds are a consumer electronics device used to play back

audio ﬁles, which can be transferred via Bluetooth

. You can use

the earbuds as a headset to take calls using the integrated microphone

once the Bluetooth

connection has been made. The charging

station is to be used only to charge and store the earbuds. The

device is not intended for any other purpose, nor for use beyond the

scope described. The device is not intended for use in commercial or

industrial environments. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility

for damage caused by failure to observe these instructions, improper

use or repairs, unauthorised modiﬁcations or the use of unapproved

replacement parts. The risk shall be borne solely by the user.

Basic safety instructions

To ensure safe operation of the device, follow the safety guidelines set

out below:

■ Check the earbuds and the charging station for any visible external

damage before use. Do not operate damaged headphones or

headphones which have been dropped. Do not use the charging

station if it is damaged or has been dropped.

■ If the charger cable or connections are damaged, have them

replaced by an authorised specialist or the Customer Service

department.

■ This device may be used by children aged 8 years and above and

by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or

lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are under

supervision or have been told how to use the device safely and are

aware of the potential risks. Children must not play with the device.

Cleaning and user maintenance tasks may not be carried out by

children unless they are supervised.

Improper repairs may put the user at risk. It will also invalidate any

■ Repairs to the earbuds and charging station during the warranty

period may only be carried out by a customer service department

authorised by the manufacturer. Otherwise, no warranty claims will

be met for any subsequent damages.

■ Defective components must always be replaced with original

replacement parts. Only these parts are guaranteed to fulﬁl the

safety requirements.

■ Do not make any unauthorised modiﬁcations or alterations to the

earbuds or charging station.

■ Never open the earbud or charging station housings. There are no

parts which can be maintained inside the device. What is more, it

will invalidate the warranty.

■ The earbuds are protected against droplets and/or water spray.

Do not expose the charging station to splashes or dripping water.

Do not place objects ﬁlled with liquids (such as vases or open drinks)

next to the earbuds or charging station.

■ Protect the earbuds and charging station from moisture and

penetration by liquids.

■ During charging, the earbuds and the charging station may heat

up. Place the charging station (with the earbuds inserted) in a well-

ventilated location during the charging process and do not cover it.

■ Do not operate the earbuds and the charging station near to open

ﬂames (e.g. candles).

■ The earbuds and the charging station contain an integrated lithium

polymer battery. Improper use of lithium polymer batteries can

cause ﬁres, explosions, leakages of hazardous materials or other

hazards! Do not throw the earbuds and the charging station into

an open ﬁre.

■ If you notice unusual noises, a burning smell or smoke coming from

your earbuds, remove the earbuds from ears immediately. If you

charging station, disconnect any connected charging cable imme-

diately. Have the devices checked by a qualiﬁed specialist before

using them again.

► Avoid listening to music at an extremely high volume,

especially over long periods of time, when using

these earbuds.

► Acoustic warnings and ambient noise can sound diﬀerent when

you are wearing these earbuds. Make yourself aware of how

these signals deviate in their sound so that you can recognise the

signals in the appropriate situations.

► Do not use the earbuds while driving a vehicle, riding a bicycle,

operating machinery or in any other situation in which impaired

perception of ambient noise could put you or other people in

danger. Please also observe the statutory provisions and regula-

tions of the country in which you are using the earbuds.

NOTE

► If the delivery is incomplete or damage has occurred as a result

of defective packaging or during transport, contact the service

hotline (see section Service).

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport.

The packaging materials have been selected for aspects of environ-

mental friendliness and disposal, and they are therefore recyclable.

Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves

raw materials and reduces the amount of waste that is

generated. Dispose of packaging materials which are no

longer needed in accordance with applicable local

regulations.

Using the charging station

The earbuds can only be charged with the charging station .

While the charging station

is being charged, the earbuds can

be charged along with the charging station

(see section

Charging the earbuds).

CAUTION

► Charge the charging station

only in dry interior spaces.

► Only use mains adapters with an output voltage of 5V and an

output current of at least 0.5A or a USB port on your computer

to charge the charging station

Before using the charging station

, the integrated battery must be

completely charged.

♦ Connect the charging cable USB plug

to a switched-on PC or

a suitable USB power supply (not supplied).

♦ Connect the charging cable micro-USB plug to the charging

socket (micro USB) on the charging station .

NOTE

► The operating/charging LED "CHARGE"

lights up red during

charging. When the battery is fully charged, the operating/

charging LED "CHARGE" switches oﬀ.

► Charging takes about 1.5 hours if you are only charging the

charging station

Charging the earbuds

♦ Press the earbuds carefully into the charging ports on the

charger until the earbuds click into place and the operating/

charging LED on the earbuds lights up red.

♦ Ensure that the charging contacts

on the earbuds connect

with the charging contacts

in the charging station . The ear-

buds

can only be inserted correctly into the charging station

in one position. (see ﬁg. 1).

NOTE

► The operating/charging LEDs

on the earbud light up red

during charging. When the battery is fully charged, the operat-

ing/charging LED on the earbuds goes out.

► The operating/charging LED "CHARGE"

of the charging

station lights up blue while charging the earbuds . When

the charging station is being charged together with the

earbuds , both operating/charging LEDs "CHARGE" on the

charging station light up simultaneously blue and red until the

earbuds are completely charged.

► When the operating/charging LED "CHARGE"

on the charging

station goes out while charging the earbuds , the charging

station must be charged ﬁrst before the earbuds can be

charged further (see section Using the charging station).

NOTE

► Charging takes about 1.5 hours if you are only charging the

earbuds

If you are charging the earbuds

and charging station at

the same time, the earbuds will be fully charged after approx.

1.5 hours and the charging station

after approx. 3 hours.

When the battery is fully charged, you can play back music for

about 2 hours at a medium volume. The playback time may vary

depending on usage/lighting.

► Each earbud

gives out the warning "Low Battery – Please

Charge" approx. 8 minutes before the battery is dead. This mes-

sage repeats every two minutes until the battery is completely

dead.

► As soon as the left earbud battery

is completely dead, it gives

out the message "Power oﬀ" and the right earbud "Discon-

nected" and the left earbud switches oﬀ automatically. The

right earbud also switches oﬀ automatically a short while

later, also after the message "Power oﬀ". Recharge the earbuds

. If the right earbud battery is dead ﬁrst, the left earbud

maintains audio playback in mono mode until its battery is also

empty.

Inserting the earbuds

♦ When inserting the earbuds , pay attention to the side indicators

"R" (right) and "L" (left) on the earpieces.

♦ Push one of the earbuds

deeply into the ear canal (see ﬁg. 2).

In order to straighten the ear canal somewhat and therefore make

the earbud easier to insert, pull auricle backwards and upwards a

little.

♦ To ﬁx the earbud in your ear, turn the earbud forwards or

backwards a little (depending on the shape of your ear) so that the

ear hook is ﬁrmly in place (see ﬁgs. 3 + 4).

♦ Proceed in the same way to insert the other earbud .

Replacing the ear cushions

When delivered the earbuds are ﬁtted with the medium-sized ear

cushions . Depending on the size of your ear, you can use ear

cushions or of a diﬀerent size from the ones supplied.

NOTE

► The better the ear cushion seals oﬀ the ear canal, the better the

sound quality, particularly at lower frequencies.

♦ Use your ﬁngers to carefully pull on the ear cushions

to detach

them from the earbuds (see ﬁg. 5).

♦ When replacing the ear cushions, pay attention to the side indica-

tors "R" (right) and "L" (left) on the earbuds

♦ Select suitable ear cushions ( or ) from the ones supplied.

♦ Place the ear cushions so that the side indicators are roughly on

top of each other. Push them onto the earbuds until they glide

into the recess on the earbuds and sit ﬁrmly in place (see ﬁg. 6).
