3. Safety Notes
• When using this product, observe the applicable local traclaws and
regulations.
• Do not use the product in moist environments and avoid splashes.
• Use the product for its intended purpose only.
• This product is intended for private, non-commercial use only .
• Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters or other heat
sources or in direct sunlight.
• Do not modify the product in any way.Doing so voids the warranty.
• Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children due to the risk
of suffocation.
• Dispose of packaging material immediately according to locally applicable
regulations.
• Do not operate the product outside the power limits given in the
specications.
• Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.
• Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself.Leave any and all
service work to qualied experts.
• Keep this product, as all electrical products, out of the reach of children!
• Use the item only in moderate climatic conditions.
• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
• Never apply force when using the product or during installation.
• After the product has been mounted, check that it is suciently secure.
Youshould repeat this check at regular intervals.
• The light distribution must not be impaired by any part of the vehicle.
• Make surethat the central dividing edge of the light’shousing is parallel
to the traclane and perpendicular to the median longitudinal plane of
the vehicle after installation
Warning –Batteries
• When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity (+ and -markings)
and insert the batteries accordingly.Failure to do so could result in the
batteries leaking or exploding.
• Only use batteries (or rechargeable batteries) that match the specied
type.
• Beforeyou insert the batteries, clean the battery contacts and the polar
contacts.
• Do not allow children to change batteries without supervision.
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of adifferent type or
make.
• Remove the batteries from products that arenot being used for an
extended period (unless these arebeing kept ready for an emergency).
Warning –Batteries
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
• Do not charge batteries.
• Do not throw batteries in a re.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Never open, damage or swallow batteries or allow them to enter the
environment. They can contain toxic, environmentally harmful heavy
metals.
• Immediately remove and dispose of dead batteries from the product.
• Avoid storing, charging or using the device in extreme temperatures and
extremely low atmospheric pressure(for example, at high altitudes).
Warning –Button cells
• Do not ingest battery,risk of burns due to dangerous substances.
• This product contains button cells. If swallowed, the button cellcan
cause severeinternal burns within just two hours and lead to death.
• Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of children.
• If the battery compartment does not close securely,stop using the
product and keep it out of the reach of children.
• If you think that batteries wereswallowed or areinapart of the body,
seek medical assistance immediately.

Warning
Never look straight into the light source and do
not aim its beam of light straight into the eyes of
other people or animals. This could damage
your/their eyes.
4. Getting Started and Operation (Pic. 1)
Twoinserts areincluded for aperfect grip on the seatpost. The “L”insert is
for diameters from 32 to 42 mm and the “S” insert is for diameters from 25
to 32 mm.
To switch it on and off,brieypress the button (2) two times.
5. Replacing the Batteries (Pic. 2)
As soon as the battery indicator lamp (1) turns red, you have to change the
batteries immediately.This is the only way to continue ensuring safe use of
the product on the road.
Forthis purpose, pull off the “S” or “L”insert and use acoin to unscrew the
battery compartment below it in aclockwise direction. Remove the battery
cover and put in new batteries (2x CR2032). Make surethat the polarity is
correct.
Then put the battery cover (3) back on and tighten it in an anti-clockwise
direction. Now put the appropriate insert back in.
