Important information on handling this product safely and correctly

Lesen Sie diese Montageanleitung aufmerksam durch, bevor Sie

mit dem Arbeiten beginnen.

1) Die RAUTHERMEX T-Muffe ist nur kompatibel mit

RAUTHERMEX Rohren.

2) Setzen Sie den Schaum und Kleber niemals der Sonne oder

anderen Wärmequellen aus. Das Rauchen ist während der

Verarbeitung nicht gestattet.

3) Die Dichtringe müssen immer vor den Fittingen montiert wer-

den, da die Montage zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt nicht mehr

möglich ist.

4) Sorgen Sie immer für saubere Rohre und fettfreie Klebeä-

chen an beiden Schalen.

5) Tragen Sie Schutzbrille und Handschuhe beim Kleben und

Arbeiten mit dem Schaum.

Read the instruction manual carefully before you start work.

1) RAUTHERMEX T-Shell is only suitable to RAUTHERMEX pipes.

2) Never expose foam and glue to the sun or to heat sources!

Don’t smoke while handling!

3) Always t sealing rings before tting because they cannot be

tted afterwards!

4) Always make sure the pipes are clean with grease-free adhe-

sion surfaces on both shells.

5) Wear safety goggles and gloves when gluing and working

with foam.

1. Längen Sie das Rohr ab.

Vorsicht: Das RAUTHERMEX Rohr könnte zurück springen.

2. Messen Sie die Länge der zu entfernenten Dämmung ab.

Achtung: Wenn das Rohrende nicht rechtwinklig ist, sind zu-

sätzliche 4 cm zum sauberen Nachschneiden erforderlich (siehe

Schritt 5.).

Stripping lengths

Attention: if the pipe end is not cut square, additional 4 cm are

required for correct trimming (see step 5.).

3. Trennen Sie das Mantelrohr mit einer Säge , einem Messer oder

einem Rohrschneider durch und schälen Sie dieses ab.

Vorsicht: Mediumrohr darf nicht beschädigt werden.

Cut pipe jacket all the way round with a saw, knife or pipe cutter

and peel it off.

Attention: Do not damage carrier pipe!

4. Entfernen Sie den Schaum.

Vorsicht: Sauerstoffsperschicht darf nicht beschädigt werden!

Remove foam.

Attention: Do not damage oxygen-barrier!

6. Entfernen Sie den verbleibenden PU-Schaum mit Hilfe von

Schleifpapier.

Using the sandpaper cloth remove the remaining PU foam from the

carrier pipe.

8. Schiebehülse auf Mediumrohr aufschieben (Position der Schie-

behülse beachten- siehe Abbildung).

7. Bringen Sie die Dichtringe auf und richten Sie die Lamellen vom

Rohrende weg.

Falls notwendig reinigen Sie die Dichtringe und das Rohr.

Aply gasket. Sealing ridges have to point away from the edge, if

required clean sealing and pipe.

5. Falls erforderlich schneiden Sie die Rohrenden senkrecht nach.

If required please trim edges square.

Vorsicht: Montageanweisung der Verpresswerkzeuge beachten.

Die Schiebehülse darf sich nicht im Bereich des Aufweitwerk-

zeuges benden!

Attention: Observe manual of press tool. The compression sleeve

must not be in range of the expanding tool!

10. Stecken Sie den Fitting ein.

Setzen Sie das Werkzeug an und verpressen Sie die Verbin-

dung.

Insert tting.

Position the tool and start compression.

11. Falls nötig, schneiden Sie einen Keil für das Werkzeug aus.

If required cut out recess for tool.

12. Montieren Sie das zweite Rohr analog den Schnitten 1 – 10.

Repeat the procedure. As show in 1 – 10.

9. Weiten Sie das Rohr zweimal um ca. 30 ° versetzt auf. Bei DUO

Rohren das zweite Rohr gleich aufweiten, bevor der Fitting

eingesteckt wird.

Expand pipe twice offset approx. 30°. At DUO pipes expand the

second pipe immediately before you insert the tting.

14. Passen Sie die untere Schalenhälfte (ohne Stopfenlöcher) ein.

Fit lower half-shell (without plug holes).

15. Positionieren Sie die Dichtringe.

Bei Dichtringen für die große Muffe müssen diese am äußeren

Bund plan anliegen.

Align the sealing rings.

Big T:

Assure plane alignment of the sealing rings by justifying the

sealing with the outer collar of the shell.

16. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Dichtringe am ganzen Umfang bei

aufgelegter, oberer Schalenhälfte positioniert sind.

Assure tting accuracy on the entire circumference with upper

shell set on.

13. Montieren Sie den Abzweig analog den Schritten 1 – 11.

Repeat the procedure at the branching pipe as shown in 1 -11.

17. Reinigen Sie die Klebeächen der beiden Schalen, damit diese

frei von Schmutz und Fett sind.

Clean the adhesion surfaces of both shelles so that they are free

of dirt and grease.

18. Bestreichen Sie die Klebeächen der unteren Schale lücken-

los mit dem beigelegten Schnellkleber. Kleber im Breich der

Dichtringe bis ganz an den inneren Rand aufbringen.

Apply an uninterrupted line of the supplied glue to the gluing

surface of the shell. At the sealings apply glue to the inner side of

the gluing surface.

19. Legen Sie die obere Schale (mit Stopfenlöcher) auf und

drücken Sie diese an.

Fit the upper shell (with plug holes).

20. Montieren Sie die Spannklammern zunächst an den Schalen-

enden.

Fit the clamps at the shell endings rst.

22. Verschließen Sie die zwei tiefer gelegenen Stopfenlöcher mit

den selbstentlüftenden Dichtstopfen.

Die angehängten Gummistopfen bleiben zur Entlüftung geöff-

net.

Das verbleibende am höchsten liegende Stopfenloch dient

später zur Schaumeinfüllung.

Close the two lowest plug holes with the self/deairing plugs.

The integrated rubber bung needs to stay open for deairing.

The highest positioned remaining third plug hole is required for

foam lling purposes.

23. Warten Sie 20 Minuten bis der Kleber ausgehärtet ist.

Allow 20 minutes for the glue to harden.

24. Mischen Sie die Schaumkomponenten.

Mix foam components.

Achtung: Sicherheitsvorschriften beachten.

Attention: Observe safety instruction in the foam set.

21. Montieren Sie die restlichen Spannklammern und beginnen Sie

mit der langen Seite des T-Stückes (siehe Markierung A).

Fit the rest of the clamps and start with the clamps at the long

side (see mark A).

25. Geschlossene Schaumasche gut schütteln gem. Gebrauchs-

anleitung Schaumset.

Shake bottle well (see instruction in the foam set).

26. Füllen Sie den Inhalt der Schaumasche durch das verblei-

bende Stopfenloch ein.

Fill content of foam bottle into the plug hole.

27. Verschließen Sie den hoch gelegenen Stopfen.

Der angehängte Gummistopfen bleibt zur Entlüftung geöffnet.

28. Schließen Sie die angehängten Gummistopfen nach dem Ent-

lüften (max. 5 Minuten nach dem Einfüllen des Schaums).

29. Die Montage ist abgeschlossen.

Installation is nished.
