Advanced functions: timer/time measurement, actuator time stamp

Precise reaction of actuators:

The actuator is informed early on about the time at which it has to execute a desired

action. For this purpose, a rising edge for controlling a valve, for example, plus the

associated time stamp are transmitted to the actuator. Another time stamp and the

"falling edge" signal are used to reset the valve.

In the case of a pneumatic cylinder, the position sensor MPA continually monitors the

throughput time, for example. If the environmental conditions change and the

throughput time slows down, the actuator can automatically correct the start time so

that the action can be performed at the right point

Bei einem Pneumatikzylinder wird z.B. die Ausstoßzeit permanent durch den

Positionssenssor MPA überwacht. Ändern sich die Umgebungsbedingungen und die

Ausstoßzeit verlängert sich, kann der Aktor selbstständig die Startzeit korrigieren, um

rechtzeitig die Aktion ausgeführt zu haben.
