tion concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the

product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety infor-

mation and instructions for use. Only use the product as de-

The product is constructed for illuminating working areas in in-

door environment. The product is not intended for commercial

use or for use in other applications.

CHILDREN! Never leave children unsupervised

with the packaging material. The packaging material rep-

resents a danger of suffocation. Children frequently under-

estimate the dangers. Always keep children away from

the packaging material. This product is not a toy.

This product can be used by children aged from 8 years

and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or

mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge

if they have been given supervision or instruction concern-

ing use of the product in a safe way and understand the

hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by

children without supervision.

product if you find that it is damaged in any way.

Check whether all of the parts are correctly fitted. If the

product is not correctly assembled there is a danger of

injury.

Keep the product away from humidity.

Do not subject the product to any extreme temperatures or

severe mechanical stress. Otherwise this may result in

deformation of the product.

The product is only intended for use indoors,

in dry and enclosed areas.

The LEDs are not replaceable.

If the LEDs fail at the end of their lives, the entire product

must be replaced.

Safety instructions for batteries /

rechargeable batteries

DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries / rechargeable bat-

teries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed

seek immediate medical attention.

DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never re-

charge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not

short-circuit batteries / rechargeable batteries

and / or open them. Overheating, ﬁre or bursting can be

the result.

Never throw batteries / rechargeable batteries into ﬁre or

water.

Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries / rechargeable

batteries.

Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable

batteries

Avoid extreme environmental conditions and tempera-

tures, which could aﬀect batteries / rechargeable batter-

ies, e.g. radiators / direct sunlight.

Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes.

In the event of contact with battery acid, thoroughly ﬂush

the aﬀected area with plenty of clean water and seek im-

mediate medical attention.

WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or

damaged batteries / rechargeable batteries

can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear

suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event

occurs.

In the event of a leakage of batteries / rechargeable bat-

teries, immediately remove them from the product to pre-

vent damage.

Only use the same type of batteries / rechargeable batter-

ies. Do not mix used and new batteries / rechargeable

batteries.

Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries if the product

will not be used for a longer period.

Risk of damage of the product

Only use the speciﬁed type of battery / rechargeable bat-

tery!

Insert batteries / rechargeable batteries according to po-

larity marks (+) and (-) on the battery / rechargeable bat-

tery and the product.

Clean the contacts on the battery / rechargeable battery

and in the battery compartment before inserting!

Remove exhausted batteries / rechargeable batteries from

the product immediately.

Note: Switch the product off before you insert or remove the

batteries 6.

For HG03223A only:

Turn the battery compartment cover 8 anticlockwise and

take it off from the battery compartment 7 (see Fig. B).

Insert the (new) batteries into the battery compartment 7.

Note: Make sure you fit the batteries the right way round

(polarity). The correct polarity is shown inside the battery

compartment.

Put the battery compartment cover 8 back at a correct

place on the battery compartment 7 and turn it clock-

wise to tighten it (see Fig. C).

For HG03223B only:

Open the battery compartment 7 by removing the battery

compartment cover 8 (see Fig. B).

Insert three 1.5 V, AA batteries 6 into the battery com-

partment 7. Ensure correct polarity. This is indicated in

the battery compartment 7.

Close the battery compartment 7 by placing the battery

compartment cover 8 on top of it and clicking it into

place (see Fig. C).

Q Switching On / Off

Press the ON / OFF button 3 to switch the product on.

Press the ON / OFF button again to switch the product off.

Q Fixing the product

The product can be used in 2 ways without having to hold it in

your hand:

Hold the magnet 5 against a metallic magnetic surface.

The product remains in this position.

Fold out the hook 4 to suspend the product from a suita-

ble suspension point. The hook 4 can be turned through

360 degree.

Q Cleaning and care

Use a dry cloth to clean the product – never use petrol,

solvents or cleaners that attack plastic.

Do not clean the product with water or other liquids.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable mate-

rials, which you may dispose of at local recycling

facilities. The Green Dot is not valid for Germany.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials

for waste separation, which are marked with abbre-

viations (a) and numbers (b) with following mean-

ing: 1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and

ﬁbreboard / 80–98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials are recycla-

ble, dispose of it separately for better waste treat-

ment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for

more details of how to dispose of your worn-out

product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of

the product properly when it has reached the end

of its useful life and not in the household waste. In-

formation on collection points and their opening

hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Faulty or used batteries / rechargeable batteries must be recy-

cled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its

amendments. Please return the batteries / rechargeable batter-

ies and / or the product to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect

disposal of the batteries / rechargeable

batteries!

Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with

the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy met-

als and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and

regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as fol-

lows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why

you should dispose of used batteries / rechargeable batteries

at a local collection point.

Warranty

The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines

and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of

product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of

this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by

our warranty detailed below.

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of

purchase. Should this product show any fault in materials or

manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will

repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you.

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please

keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This docu-

ment is required as your proof of purchase. This warranty be-

comes void if the product has been damaged, or used or

maintained improperly.

The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture.

This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal

wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or

for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batte-

ries or glass parts.

sisältää tärkeitä turvallisuusohjeita sekä käyttöä ja hävitystä

HENGEN-JA TAPATUR-

MANVAARA LAPSILLE! Älä koskaan jätä

lapsia yksin pakkausmateriaalin kanssa.

Pakkausmateriaaleihin liittyy tukehtumisvaara. Lapset aliar-

vioivat useimmiten vaaratilanteet. Pidä lapset aina loitolla

pakkausmateriaaleista. Tuote ei ole lelu.

Tuotetta voivat käyttää 8 vuotta täyttäneet lapset sekä

henkilöt, jotka ovat fyysisiltä tai psyykkisiltä kyvyiltään tai

oikosulje paristoja / akkuja äläkä avaa niitä.

Siitä voi seurata ylikuumeneminen, tulipalo tai räjähdys.

Älä koskaan heitä paristoja / akkuja tuleen tai veteen.

Älä altista paristoja / akkuja mekaaniselle kuormitukselle.

Paristojen / akkujen vuotamisesta johtuva vaara

Vältä äärimmäisiä olosuhteita ja lämpötiloja, jotka voivat

vaikuttaa paristoihin / akkuihin esim. lämpöpatterit tai

suora auringonvalo.

Vältä kosketusta ihoon, silmiin ja limakalvoihin! Huuhtele

paristohapolle altistuneet kohdat välittömästi pelkällä

vedellä ja ota yhteyttä lääkäriin!

KÄYTÄ SUOJAKÄSINEITÄ! Vuotaneet tai

vaurioituneet paristot / akut voivat syövyttää

ihoa. Käytä siksi ehdottomasti aina sopivia

suojakäsineitä.

Jos paristot / akut vuotavat, poista ne välittömästi tuotteesta,

jotta tuote ei vaurioidu.

Käytä vain samantyyppisiä paristoja / akkuja. Älä käytä

vanhoja ja uusia paristoja / akkuja yhdessä!

Poista paristot / akut tuotteesta, jos sitä ei käytetä pitkään

aikaan.

Tuotteen vaurioitumisvaara

Käytä ainoastaan ohjeessa mainittua paristo- / akkutyyppiä!

Aseta paristot / akut tuotteen sisään paristoon/akkuun ja

tuotteeseen merkittyjen napojen (+) ja (-) mukaan.

Puhdista pariston / akun ja paristolokeron kontaktipinnat

ennen sisäänasettamista!

Poista loppuunkäytetyt paristot / akut välittömästi tuotteesta.

Käyttöönotto

Paristojen sisäänasettaminen /

vaihtaminen

Huomautus: kytke tuote pois päältä, ennen kuin asetat

paristot 6 sisään tai vaihdat ne.

Vain malli HG03223A:

Kierrä paristolokeron kantta 8 vastapäivään ja irrota se

paristolokerosta 7 (kuva B).

Aseta (uudet) paristot paristolokeroon.

Huomautus: Tarkasta samalla, että napaisuus on oikea.

Napaisuus on merkitty paristolokeroon 7.

Aseta paristolokeron kansi 8 takaisin paristolokeron 7

päälle ja käännä se kiinni myötäpäivään kiertäen (kuva C).

Vain malli HG03223B:

Avaa paristolokero 7 poistamalla paristokotelon kansi 8

(kuva B).

Aseta kolme 6 AA-paristoa, 1,5 V paristolokeroon 7.

Tarkista samalla oikea napaisuus. Se on merkitty paristoti-

laan 7.

Sulje paristolokero 7 asettamalla paristokotelon kansi 8

paikoilleen (kuva C).

Päälle- / päältäkytkeminen

Paina virtapainiketta 3 käynnistääksesi tuotteen.

Paina virtapainiketta uudelleen sammuttaaksesi tuotteen.

Tuotteen asentaminen

Tuotetta voidaan käyttää kahdella eri tavalla:

Pidä magneetteja 5 metallista, magneettista pintaa vasten.

Tuote kiinnittyy tähän pintaan.

Avaa koukku 4, jolla voit ripustaa tuotteen sopivaan

ripustimeen. Voit kääntää koukkua 4 360°.

Puhdistus ja hoito

Käytä tuotteen puhdistukseen kuivaa liinaa, älä missään

tapauksessa käytä muovia vaurioittavia aineita kuten

bensiiniä, liuotinainetta tai pesuainetta.

Älä puhdista tuotetta vedellä tai muilla nesteillä.

Hävittäminen

Pakkaus on valmistettu ympäristöystävällisistä mate-

riaaleista, jotka voidaan viedä paikalliseen kierrä-

tyspisteeseen. Vihreä piste -merkki ei koske Saksaa.

Noudata pakkausmateriaalien jätteiden lajittelua

koskevia merkintöjä. Ne koostuvat lyhenteistä (a)

sekä numeroista (b) ja tarkoittavat seuraavaa:

1–7 = muovit / 20–22 = paperi ja pahvi /

80–98 = komposiitit.

Tuote ja pakkausmateriaalit ovat kierrätettäviä, hävitä

ne erikseen paremman jätteiden käsittelyn takaami-

seksi. Triman-logo koskee vain Ranskaa.

Lisätietoja käytöstä poistetun tuotteen hävittämismah-

dollisuuksista saat kuntasi tai kaupunkisi viranomai-

silta.

Älä heitä käytettyä tuotetta kotitalousjätteisiin. Hävitä

tuote ympäristöystävällisesti toimittamalla se asian-

mukaiseen jätehuoltoon. Lisätietoja keräyspaikoista

ja niiden aukioloajoista saat kuntasi viranomaisilta.

Vialliset ja käytetyt paristot on kierrätettävä direktiivin

2006/66/EY ja siihen tehtyjen muutosten mukaisesti. Palauta

paristot ja / tai laite lähimpään keräyspisteeseen.

Paristojen väärä hävittämistapa

aiheuttaa ympäristövahinkoja!

Paristoja ei saa hävittää kotitalousjätteenä. Ne voivat sisältää

myrkyllisiä raskasmetalleja, minkä vuoksi ne kuuluvat ongelma-

jätekäsittelyyn. Raskasmetallien kemialliset merkit ovat seuraavat:

Cd = kadmium, Hg = elohopea, Pb = lyijy. Toimita tästä syystä

käytetyt paristot kunnalliseen keräyspisteeseen.

Takuu

Tuote on valmistettu huolellisesti tiukkojen laatudirektiivien

mukaan ja tarkistettu huolella ennen toimitusta. Jos tuote on

virheellinen, sinulla on ostajana lakisääteiset oikeudet esittää

vaatimuksia tuotteen myyjää kohtaan. Seuraavassa esitetty

takuu ei rajoita lakisääteisiä oikeuksiasi.

lukien. Takuun voimassaolo alkaa tuotteen ostopäivästä. Säilytä

aina alkuperäinen kassakuitti. Se toimii todisteena tehdystä

Jos 3 vuoden sisällä tuotteen ostopäivästä alkaen tuotteesta

löytyy materiaali- tai valmistusvirhe, korjaamme tuotteen ilmai-

seksi tai toimitamme tilalle uuden tuotteen harkintamme mukaan.

Takuu raukeaa, jos tuote on vioittunut asiattoman käytön tai

huollon vuoksi.

Takuu koskee materiaali- ja valmistusvirheitä. Takuu ei kata

tuotteen osia, jotka kuluvat normaalissa käytössä ja siitä syystä

pidetään kuluvina osina (esim. paristot) tai vaurioita särkyvissä

osissa esim. kytkimessä, akuissa tai lasista valmistetuissa osissa.
