LED-Scheinwerfer

Diese Anleitung richtet sich an den Instal-

lateur des Geräts und an den Bediener mit

Grundkenntnissen in der DMX-Steuerung.

Bitte lesen Sie die Anleitung vor dem Betrieb

gründlich durch und heben Sie sie für ein spä-

teres Nachlesen auf.

1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten

Dieser LED-Scheinwerfer dient zur Effektbe-

leuchtung z. B. auf Bühnen, in Diskotheken

und Festsälen. Als Lichtquelle sind vorhanden:

1 × zentrale 30-W-RGB-COB-LED

9 × 6-W-RGBUV-LED

21 × weiße 0,5-W-LED (Strobe)

Der Scheinwerfer ist für die Steuerung über

ein DMX-Lichtsteuergerät ausgelegt (2, 6, 9

oder 22 DMX- Steuerkanäle wählbar). Er kann

aber auch allein oder im Verbund mehrerer

PARL-7730 (Master- / Slave-Modus) betrieben

werden. Zusätzlich sorgt das integrierte Mik-

rofon für musiksynchrone Effekte.

2 Sicherheitshinweise

Der Scheinwerfer entspricht allen relevan-

ten Richtlinien der EU und trägt deshalb das

-Zeichen.

WARNUNG

Der Scheinwerfer wird mit

lebensgefährlicher Netzspan-

nung versorgt. Nehmen Sie des-

halb nie selbst Eingriffe daran

vor und stecken Sie nichts durch die Lüf-

tungsöffnungen. Es besteht die Gefahr eines

elektrischen Schlages.

•

Verwenden Sie den Scheinwerfer nur im

Innenbereich und schützen Sie ihn vor

Tropf- und Spritzwasser sowie vor hoher

Luftfeuchtigkeit. Der zulässige Einsatztem-

peraturbereich beträgt 0 – 40 °C.

•

Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten

Gefäße, z. B. Trinkgläser, auf den Schein-

werfer.

•

Die im Scheinwerfer entstehende Wärme

muss durch den Lüfter abgegeben werden.

Decken Sie die Lüftungsöffnungen am Ge-

häuse nicht ab.

•

Nehmen Sie den Scheinwerfer nicht in Be-

trieb oder ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker

aus der Steckdose,

1. wenn sichtbare Schäden am Scheinwer-

fer oder am Netzkabel vorhanden sind,

2. wenn nach einem Sturz oder Ähnlichem

der Verdacht auf einen Defekt besteht,

3. wenn Funktionsstörungen auftreten.

Geben Sie den Scheinwerfer in jedem Fall

zur Reparatur in eine Fachwerkstatt.

•

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nie am Kabel

aus der Steckdose, fassen Sie immer am

Stecker an.

•

Wird der Scheinwerfer zweckentfremdet,

nicht sicher montiert, nicht richtig ange-

schlossen, falsch bedient oder nicht fach-

gerecht repariert, kann keine Haftung für

daraus resultierende Sach- oder Personen-

schäden und keine Garantie für das Gerät

übernommen werden.

Soll der Scheinwerfer endgültig aus

dem Betrieb genommen werden,

übergeben Sie ihn zur umweltge-

rechten Entsorgung einem örtlichen

Recyclingbetrieb.

4 Montage

Platzieren Sie das Gerät immer so, dass im

Betrieb eine ausreichende Luftzirkulation

gewährleistet ist. Die Lüftungsöffnungen am

Gehäuse dürfen auf keinen Fall abgedeckt

sein.

WARNUNG

Der Scheinwerfer muss fach-

gerecht und sicher montiert

werden. Wird er an einer Stelle

installiert, unter der sich Perso-

nen aufhalten können, muss er

zusätzlich gesichert werden, z. B. durch ein

Fangseil. Das Fangseil durch die Sicherheits-

öse (8) führen und so befestigen, dass der

Fallweg des Gerätes nicht mehr als 20 cm

betragen kann.

1. Den Scheinwerfer über einen Montagebü-

gel (5) befestigen, z. B. mit einer stabilen

Montageschraube oder einer Lichtstrah-

ler-Halterung (C-Haken) an einer Traverse.

Zum Ausrichten des Scheinwerfers die

zwei Feststellschrauben am Montagebü-

gel lösen. Die gewünschte Neigung des

Scheinwerfers einstellen und die Schrau-

ben wieder fest anziehen.

2. Alternativ lässt sich der Scheinwerfer auch

frei aufstellen. Dazu die Montagebügel so

unter dem Scheinwerfer spreizen, dass sie

als Ständer dienen. Die Feststellschrauben

anschließend fest anziehen.

5 Inbetriebnahme

WARNUNG

Blicken Sie nicht für längere

Zeit direkt in die Lichtquelle,

das kann zu Augenschäden

führen.

Beachten Sie, dass sehr schnelle Lichtwech-

sel bei Epileptikern und bei fotosensiblen

Menschen epileptische Anfälle auslösen

können!

5.1 Bedienung über das Menü

Sobald der Scheinwerfer mit der Stromver-

sorgung verbunden ist, zeigt das Display auf

der Rückseite die Version der Firmeware und

Herstellungsinformationen. Dann wird entwe-

der der Betriebsmodus angezeigt (im Stand-

Alone-Betrieb) oder die DMX-Startadresse (im

DMX-Betrieb).

Mit den Bedientasten unter dem Display

lassen sich alle gewünschten Einstellungen

und Funktionen wählen. Das Display dient

dabei als Einstellmonitor.

6 DMX-Betrieb

6.1 DMX-Anschluss

Für die DMX-Signalübertragung sollten spezi-

elle Kabel verwendet werden (z. B. Kabel der

CDMXN-Serie). Bei Leitungslängen ab 150 m

oder bei der Steuerung von mehr als 32 Ge-

räten über einen DMX-Ausgang wird grund-

sätzlich das Zwischenschalten eines DMX-Auf-

holverstärkers empfohlen (z. B. SR-103DMX).

1) Den Eingang DMX IN (7) mit dem DMX-

Aus gang des Lichtsteuergeräts oder eines

anderen DMX-gesteuerten Geräts ver-

binden.

Den Ausgang DMX OUT (6) mit dem

DMX-Eingang des nächsten DMX-Ge-

räts verbinden. Dessen Ausgang wieder

mit dem Eingang des nachfolgenden

DMX-Geräts verbinden usw., bis alle

DMX-gesteuerten Geräte in einer Kette

angeschlossen sind.

3) Um Störungen bei der Signalübertragung

auszuschließen, sollte bei langen Leitun-

gen oder bei einer Vielzahl von hinterein-

andergeschalteten Geräten der DMX-Aus-

gang des letzten DMX-Geräts der Kette

mit einem 120-Ω-Widerstand (> 0,3 W)

abgeschlossen werden: In die DMX-Aus-

gangsbuchse einen entsprechenden Ab-

schlussstecker (z. B. DLT-123) stecken.

6.2 DMX-Startadresse

Um alle am Lichtsteuergerät angeschlosse-

nen DMX-Geräte separat bedienen zu kön-

nen, muss jedes Gerät eine eigene Startad-

resse erhalten. Soll der erste DMX-Kanal des

PARL-7730 vom Lichtsteuergerät z. B. über

die DMX-Adresse 6 gesteuert werden, am

PARL-7730 die Startadresse 6 einstellen. Die

übrigen DMX-Kanäle des PARL-7730 sind

dann automatisch den darauffolgenden Ad-

ressen zugeordnet.

7 Reinigung des Geräts

Die Linsen zum Bündeln der Lichtstrahlen

sollten in regelmäßigen Abständen je nach

Verschmutzung gereinigt werden. Nur dann

kann das Licht in maximaler Helligkeit ab-

gestrahlt werden. Vor dem Säubern den

Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.

Nur ein weiches, sauberes Tuch und ein Glas-

reinigungsmittel verwenden. Anschließend

die Linsen trocken wischen.

Zum Reinigen des Gehäuses nur ein wei-

ches, sauberes Tuch benutzen. Auf keinen

Fall eine Flüssigkeit verwenden, die könnte

in das Gerät laufen und Beschädigungen

verursachen.

LED Spotlight

These instructions are intended for the in-

staller of the unit and for users with basic

knowledge in DMX control. Please read the

instructions carefully prior to operation and

keep them for later reference.

1 Applications

This LED spotlight is designed for effect illu-

mination, for example, on stage, in clubs or

in function rooms. The following light sources

are provided:

1 × central 30 W RGB COB LED

9 × 6 W RGBUV LED

21 × white 0.5 W LED (strobe)

The spotlight is designed for control via

a DMX light controller (2, 6, 9 or 22 DMX

channels available); however, it can also be

operated independently or in combination

with multiple spotlights PARL-7730 (master/

slave mode). In addition, the integrated mi-

crophone provides effects in sync with music.

2 Safety Notes

The spotlight corresponds to all relevant

directives of the EU and is therefore marked

with .

WARNING The spotlight uses dangerous

mains voltage. Leave servicing

to skilled personnel only and

do not insert anything into the

air vents. Inexpert handling of the unit may

result in electric shock.

•

The spotlight is suitable for indoor use only.

Protect it against dripping water, splash

water and high air humidity. The admissi-

ble ambient temperature range is 0 – 40 °C.

•

Do not place any vessel ﬁlled with liquid on

the spotlight, e. g. a drinking glass.

•

The heat generated inside the spotlight

must be dissipated by the fan; never cover

the air vents of the housing.

•

Do not operate the spotlight or immediately

disconnect the mains plug from the socket,

1. if the spotlight or the mains cable is vis-

ibly damaged,

2. if a defect might have occurred after the

unit was dropped or suffered a similar

accident,

3. if malfunctions occur.

In any case the spotlight must be repaired

by skilled personnel.

•

Never pull the mains cable to disconnect

the mains plug from the socket, always

seize the plug.

•

No guarantee claims for the spotlight and

no liability for any resulting personal dam-

age or material damage will be accepted

if the spotlight is used for other purposes

than originally intended, if it is not safely

installed, if it is not correctly operated, or if

it is not repaired in an expert way.

If the spotlight is to be put out of op-

eration deﬁnitively, take it to a local

recycling plant for a disposal which

is not harmful to the environment.

4 Installation

Always place the spotlight at a location where

sufﬁcient air circulation is ensured during

operation. Never cover the air vents of the

housing.

WARNING

Install the spotlight in a safe

and expert manner. When in-

stalling the spotlight at a place

where people may walk or sit

under it, additionally secure

the spotlight, e. g. by means of a safety

rope. Guide the rope through the eyebolt

(8) and fasten it, making sure that the max-

imum falling distance of the spotlight will

not exceed 20 cm.

1. Use a mounting bracket (5) to fasten the

spotlight, e.g. by means of a stable mount-

ing screw or a support for lighting units

(Chook) to a crossbar.

To align the spotlight, release the two

locking screws of the mounting bracket.

Tilt the spotlight as desired and then

retighten the screws.

2. As an alternative, the spotlight can be set

up as desired. Spread the mounting brack-

ets below the spotlight so that they serve

as a support. Then retighten the locking

screws.

5 Operation

WARNING

To prevent damage to your

eyes, never look directly into

the light source for any length

of time.

Please note that fast changes in lighting may

trigger epileptic seizures with photosensitive

persons or persons with epilepsy!

5.1 Operation via the menu

As soon as the spotlight is supplied with

power, the display on the rear side of the

spotlight will show the ﬁrmware version and

some start-up information. Then either the

operating mode (in the stand-alone mode)

or the DMX start address (in the DMX mode)

will be shown.

Use the buttons under the display to se-

lect the settings and functions desired. The

functions and settings are indicated on the

display.

6 DMX Mode

6.1 DMX connection

For DMX signal transmission, special cables

should be used (e. g. cables of the CDMXN

series). For cable lengths exceeding 150 m and

when controlling more than 32 units via a sin-

gle DMX output, it is generally recommended

to insert a DMX level matching ampliﬁer (e. g.

SR-103DMX).

Connect the input DMX IN (7) to the DMX

output of the light controller or of another

DMX-controlled unit.

2) Connect the output DMX OUT (6) to the

DMX input of the second DMX-controlled

unit. Proceed in the same way to connect

the output of the second unit to the input

of the third unit etc. until all DMX-con-

trolled units have been connected in a

chain.

3) To prevent interference in signal transmis-

sion, in case of long cables or a multitude

of units connected in series, terminate

the DMX output of the last DMX unit in

the chain with a 120 Ω resistor (> 0.3 W):

Connect a corresponding terminating plug

(e. g. DLT-123) to the DMX output jack.

6.2 DMX start address

For separate control of all DMX units con-

nected to the light controller, each unit must

have its own start address. Example: If the

ﬁrst DMX channel of the PARL-7730 is to be

controlled by the light controller via DMX

address6, set the start address on the PARL-

7730 to 6. All other DMX channels of the

PARL-7730 will be automatically assigned to

the subsequent addresses.

7 Cleaning the Unit

Clean the lenses for focusing the light beams

at regular intervals depending on impurities.

This is the only way to ensure that light will

be emitted at maximum brightness. Before

cleaning, disconnect the mains plug from

the socket. Only use a soft clean cloth and a

glass cleaner. Then wipe the lenses dry.

For cleaning the housing, only use a soft

clean cloth. Never use any ﬂuid; it may leak

into the unit and damage it.
