Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your
new LED moisture-proof light (hereinafter
also referred to as “light” or “product”).
In doing so you have cho-
sen a top-quality product. Please be sure
to carefully read all the instructions for installation
and use. Fold out the page with illustrations. These
instructions are part of the product and contain
important information on setup and handling. Al-
ways observe all safety instructions. Before using
this product for the first time, verify that the correct
voltage is present and that all parts are properly
mounted. If you have any questions or are unsure
about operating the product, please contact your
distributor or service centre. Please keep these in-
structions in a safe place and pass them on to third
parties if necessary.

Intended use
This light is suitable exclusively for use
indoors, in damp rooms as well as
sheltered outdoor areas. The light can be
mounted to any surface of normal flammability. This
product is only intended for private household use.
Scope of delivery
Always check that all the parts are present and that
the product is in perfect condition immediately after
unpacking.

Damage caused by non-observance of these
operating instructions will invalidate the warranty!
No liability is accepted for consequential damage!

personal injury caused by improper handling or
non-observance of the safety instructions!
The LED moisture-proof light may only be operated
with T8 LED tubes. Conventional fluorescent tubes
must not be used.
ATTENTION! The use of an additional start-
er is not necessary. For proper light connection, at
least a rubber connection cable of 2*1.0mm² must
be used. Rubber cables with a diameter of 6 - 9mm
can be used.
WARNING! DANGER TO
LIFE AND RISK OF ACCIDENT
FOR INFANTS AND
CHILDREN!
Never leave children unsupervised with the
packaging material. The packaging material
poses a suffocation hazard. Children frequently
underestimate the dangers. Always keep
children away from the product.
This product may be used by children aged
8 years and up, as well as by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities
or lacking experience and knowledge, so long
as they are supervised or instructed in the safe
use of the product and understand the associ-
ated risks. Do not allow children to play with
the product. Cleaning and user maintenance
must not be performed by children without
supervision.
Do not leave the light or packaging material
lying unattended. Plastic films or bags, or
plastic parts etc. can turn into dangerous toys
for children.
Avoid the risk of fatal injury
from electric shock
Ensure that a qualified electrician, or a person
trained to carry out electrical installations,
performs the electrical installation.
Cables with basic insulation and permanent
wiring must be provided with additional
insulation.
Use double insulated cables from the connec-
tion point to the light. The basic insulation must
be kept as short as possible so that the basic
insulation does not come into contact with the
mounting surface or a screw.
Never use the light if it shows any signs of
damage.
Remove the fuse or switch off the circuit breaker
(0 setting) in the fuse box prior to installation.
Before installing, ensure that the available
mains voltage matches the operating voltage
required by the light (see “Technical data”).
Before drilling, ensure that there are no gas or
water pipes or power cables where you intend
to drill.
Installation must only be performed by skilled
persons.
Never touch the live parts if the plastic cover or
lamp housing are damaged.
Never open any of the electrical equipment
or insert objects into these. Such interferences
pose a risk of fatal injury from electric shock.
Do not install the light on a wet or conductive
surface!
Preventing fire and
injury hazards
We assume no liability for property damage or
personal injury caused by improper handling
or failure to observe the safety notices!
Do not install the light if the plastic cover is
defective.
Immediately replace a broken plastic
cover with a new one. Contact the
service centre or an electrician.
This light is not suitable for dimmers
or electronic switches.
Only use the LED tubes in a dry
environment.
CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS
FROM HOT SURFACES!
To prevent burns, be sure the light is switched
off and cooled down before touching it. Illumi-
nants become very hot.
Do not look directly into the light source (light
bulb, LED etc.).
Do not use optical instruments to look at the
light source (e.g. magnifying glass).
Preparation
Tools and materials required
The specified tools and materials are not included.
The information and values specified are
non-binding and are only provided as a reference.
The nature of the material is determined by the
specific local conditions.

Prior to installation
Important: Ensure that a qualified electrician, or
a person trained to carry out electrical installations,
performs the electrical installation. Ensure that you
do not install the light at a height, which presents a
risk of injury.
Familiarise yourself with all the instructions and
diagrams in this manual, as well as with the
light itself, before you install it.
Prepare the installation with care and allow
sufficient time. Organise all parts and any
necessary additional tools or materials before
starting so they are easy to reach.
Always be alert! Always pay attention to what
you are doing and always use common sense.
Never install the light if you are having
difficulty concentrating or do not feel well.
Before installation, ensure that the circuit to
which the light will be connected is not
energised. To do so, remove the fuse or switch
off the circuit breaker in the fuse box (0 setting)
(see Fig. A).
Verify that the components are not live using a
voltage tester.
Be careful not to damage any electrical cables
or gas or water lines when drilling into the
wall.
Please refer to the instructions for use for your
power drill.
Initial use
Installing the light
Note: We recommend assembling this product
with two people.
Remove the fuse or switch off the circuit break-
er (0 setting) in the fuse box prior to installation
(see Fig. A).
Mark the drill holes with approx 410 mm
horizontal and 17 mm vertical distance
between them.
Now drill the mounting holes (Ø approx. 6
mm, 40 mm deep) (see Fig. B). Be sure not to
damage the mains connection cable (external)

Insert the wall plugs 3 into the drilled holes.
Fasten the ceiling mounts 6 in place using the
screws 4 provided.
Before installing, remove the light cover 1 and
the LED tubes 8 from the light by unscrewing
them from the sockets with a ¼ turn (see Fig.
C).
Press the fastening clips 9 and light base 2
together carefully and remove the cover 10 by
pulling it upwards (see Fig. D).
Now remove the fixing nut 7 (PG screw
connection) from the light base 2 by twisting it
anticlockwise (see Fig. E).
Feed the mains connection cable (external)
11 through the fixing nut 7 (PG screw
connection) (see Fig. F).
Guide the mains connection cable (external)
11 through the cable outlet in the light base 2
(see Fig. G). Make sure that the double
insulation of the mains connection cable
(external) 11 reaches fully into the light base
2 .
Connect the mains connection cable (external)
11 using the lustre terminal 12 (see Fig. G).
Be sure that the colours of the connected lines
match (L = black or brown, N = white or blue).
Protection class 2: this light is specially insulat-
ed and must not be connected to a protective
conductor.
Screw the fixing nut 7 (PG screw connection)
tightly onto the cable outlet by turning it clock-
wise (see Fig. H).
Make sure that the rubber seal tightly surrounds
the mains connection cable (external) 11 .
Reattach the cover 10 to the light base 2 .
To do so, carefully press the fastening clips 9

together. Align the corresponding recesses in
the cover 10 over the fastening clips 9 and
the lustre terminal 12 to place the cover 10 on
the light base 2 (see Fig. I).
Push a locking clamp 5 into every bracket on
the side of the light base 2 (see Fig. J).
Now insert the LED tubes 8 into the sockets
and fix them in place by turning them a ¼
rotation.
The designations “L” and “N” on the type plate
of the LED tube do not have to be observed
when installing.
Place the light cover 1 on the light base 2
(see Fig. K).
Hook the locking clamps 5 onto the light
cover 1 and close these by exerting slight
pressure (see Fig. L).
Push the light base 2 into the ceiling mounts
6 (see Fig. M).
Verify it is positioned correctly.
Replace the fuse or switch on the circuit breaker
in the fuse box (I setting) (see Fig. N).
Your LED moisture-proof light is now ready to use.
Switching the light on / off
Use the wall switch to switch the light on or off.
Changing the LED tubes
WARNING! DANGER OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK!
First disconnect the LED moisture-proof light from
the mains. To do this, remove the fuse or switch off
the circuit breaker in the fuse box (0 setting) (see
Fig. A).
CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS DUE
TO HOT SURFACES! Allow the
LED moisture-proof light to cool down
completely.
Use a clean, lint-free and dry cloth to replace
the LED tubes 8 .
Loosen the light cover 1 by opening the lock-
ing clamps 5 on the side.
Check carefully from which side the light cover
1 can be fully opened.
Fully unfold the light cover 1 .
Remove the faulty LED tubes 8 from the sock-
ets by turning them a ¼ rotation.
Insert the new LED tubes into the sockets and
fix them in place by turning them a ¼ rotation
(see Fig. K).
Place the light cover 1 on the light base 2 .
Hook the locking clamps 5 onto the light
cover 1 and close these by exerting slight
pressure (see Fig. L).
Replace the fuse or switch on the circuit breaker
in the fuse box (I setting) (see Fig. N).
Maintenance and Cleaning
WARNING! DANGER OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK! Disconnect the light from the
power supply before cleaning. To do so,
remove the fuse or switch off the circuit breaker in
the fuse box (0 setting) (see Fig. A).
WARNING! DANGER OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK! To ensure electrical safety,
never clean the LED moisture-proof light
with aggressive detergents or immerse it in water.
CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS DUE
TO HOT SURFACES! Allow the LED
moisture-proof light to cool down
completely.
Do not use solvents, petrol, etc. These will
damage the LED moisture-proof light .
Only use a dry, lint-free cloth for cleaning.
Replace the fuse or switch on the circuit breaker
in the fuse box (I setting) (see Fig. N).
Disposal
The packaging consists of environmentally friendly
materials that you can dispose of in your local
recycling facilities.

Check the marking on the packaging
when separating your waste. Packaging
materials are marked with abbreviations
(a) and numbers (b) as follows: 1–7: plastics /
20–22: paper and cardboard / 80–98: composite
materials.
The product and packaging materials
are recyclable. Please separate them so
they can be processed properly by the
waste disposal company. The Triman logo only
applies in France.
Ask your local administrative council or
waste disposal facility about how to
dispose of the product at the end of its
life.
When your product reaches the end of
its life, please consider the environment
and do not throw it into your general
waste: instead, dispose of it properly.
You can find out about disposal facilities and their
opening times from your local council or adminis-
tration.

This product complies with the require-
ments of the applicable national laws
and European directives. Corresponding
declarations and documentation have been
provided to the manufacturer. The product complies
with the requirements of German safety legislation
for equipment and products.
We reserve the right to make technical changes

Warranty
We offer a three-year warranty from the date
of purchase. Our products are manufactured
according to the latest production techniques and
undergo detailed quality checks. We guarantee
that the article is in perfect condition. During
the warranty period, we will repair material or
manufacturing defects free of charge. If, contrary
to all expectations, the item exhibits any defects,
please pack it up carefully and send it to the service
address provided. The warranty excludes damage
resulting from improper use and all wear parts or
consumable materials. You can order replacement
wear parts and consumables at your own cost
by telephoning the number provided. You can
likewise arrange repairs that are not included in the
warranty (e.g. light bulbs) by contacting the service
address provided; these will be billed to you at
cost price. The item will be repaired at the service
address provided. To ensure it can be handled and
sent back to you promptly, please send it directly
to this address. If you require additional product
information, want to order accessories, or have

istruzioni di sicurezza!La lampada a LED imperme-
abile può essere utilizzata solo con tubi a LED T8.
Non utilizzare tubi fluorescenti convenzionali.
ATTENZIONE! Non serve utilizzare uno
starter aggiuntivo. Per un corretto collegamento
della lampada, utilizzare almeno un cavo gommato
da 2*1,0 mm². È possibile utilizzare cavi gommati
del diametro di 6-9 mm.

Non lasciare mai che i bambini giochino con
il materiale di imballaggio senza supervisione.
Pericolo di soffocamento! Spesso i bambini sot-
tovalutano i pericoli. Tenere sempre i bambini
lontani dal prodotto.
Questo prodotto può essere utilizzato da
bambini di età pari o superiore a 8 anni,
e da persone con ridotte capacità fisiche,
sensoriali o mentali o prive di esperienza e
delle conoscenze necessarie, a condizione che
siano supervisionate o istruite sull’uso sicuro
del prodotto e che comprendano i rischi ad
esso associati. Non permettere ai bambini di
giocare con il prodotto. Gli interventi di pulizia
e manutenzione possono essere svolti da bam-
bini solo sotto supervisione.
Non lasciare la lampada o il materiale di
imballaggio incustoditi. Film o sacchetti di
plastica, oppure componenti in plastica ecc.
possono trasformarsi in giocattoli pericolosi per
i bambini.
Non esporsi al rischio di
lesioni mortali da scosse
elettriche
Assicurarsi che l’installazione elettrica venga
realizzata da un elettricista qualificato o da
personale qualificato.
I cavi con isolamento di base e cablaggio per-
manente devono essere dotati di un isolamento
aggiuntivo.
Tra il punto di collegamento e la lampada
utilizzare cavi a doppio isolamento. L’isolamen-
to di base deve essere mantenuto il più corto
possibile in modo che non entri in contatto con
la superficie di montaggio o con una vite.
Non usare la lampada qualora presenti dei danni.
Prima dell’installazione rimuovere il fusibile o
spegnere l’interruttore automatico (impostazi-
one 0) del quadro elettrico.
Prima dell’installazione, assicurarsi che la ten-
sione di rete presente corrisponda alla tensione
operativa della lampada (vedere “Dati tecnici”).
Prima di praticare i fori, assicurarsi di non
danneggiare tubi del gas o dell’acqua oppure
cavi di alimentazione.
L’installazione deve essere eseguita solo da
persone qualificate.
Non toccare mai le parti sotto tensione se il
coperchio in plastica o l’alloggiamento della
lampada sono danneggiati.
Non aprire né inserire oggetti nelle appare-
cchiature elettriche. Interventi di questo tipo
comportano il rischio di lesioni mortali dovute
a scosse elettriche.
Non installare la lampada su una superficie
bagnata o conduttiva!
Prevenire rischi di incendio e
lesioni
Non ci assumiamo responsabilità per danni
materiali o lesioni personali causati da
manipolazione impropria o dalla mancata
osservanza delle avvertenze di sicurezza!
Non installare la lampada se il coperchio in
plastica è difettoso.
Sostituire immediatamente i
paralumi di plastica rotti. Contattare
il centro di assistenza o un
elettricista.
Questa lampada non è compatibile
con dimmer o interruttori elettronici.
Utilizzare i tubi a LED solo in
ambienti asciutti.
ATTENZIONE! RISCHIO DI
USTIONI DOVUTE A SUPERFI-
CI MOLTO CALDE!
Per evitare ustioni, assicurarsi che la luce sia
spenta e raffreddata prima di toccarla. Le
lampadine diventano molto calde.
Non guardare direttamente nella sorgente
luminosa (lampadina, LED, ecc.).
Non utilizzare strumenti ottici per guardare la
sorgente luminosa (ad es. lente d’ingrandimento).
