We congratulate you on the purchase of your new device. You have

chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the

product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and

disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all

of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the unit as

described and for the speciﬁed applications. If you pass the product

on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the docu-

mentation with it.

Proper use

This device is intended for the removal of rust and paint from metal

surfaces. Any other use or modiﬁcation to the device shall be considered

as improper use and could give rise to considerable risk of accident.

We will not accept liability for loss or damage arising from improper

use. The device is intended for private, domestic use only.

Safety advice

Check the device for damage before bringing it into

use. Do not use the device if you discover any defects.

Keep children and other people away while you are

operating the sandblasting gun. Distractions can cause

you to lose control of the device.

RISK OF INJURY! IMPROPER USE! Never point the device

at people or animals.

For your own safety, wear suitable personal protec-

tive equipment.

Wear an approved dust mask / protective hood!

Wear protective glasses!

RISK OF EXPLOSION! Do not use the sandblasting gun

environments containing gases, open flames, fires or gas-operated

water heaters.

NO SMOKING!

Work in adequately ventilated spaces only.

Never use oxygen or other combustible gas as the

energy source.

Never exceed the maximum working air pressure of 8 bar.

RECOIL FORCES! High working pressures can

give rise to recoil forces that under certain conditions can result in

danger from continuous loading.

DANGER OF INJURY! Disconnect the device from the com

pressed

air source before carrying out any repairs or maintenance of the

device or moving it to another location.

DANGER OF INJURY! Disconnect the device from the com-

pressed air source before filling it with blast medium.

NOTE! Please observe the safety advice provided by the manu-

facturer of the blast medium.

Use only materials for the blast medium that are suit-

able for the sandblasting gun. Do not use quartz sand.

There is the danger of toxic silicon dust forming.

Safety advice / Operation

Take precautions to ensure that other people are not

contaminated (dust generation).

Ensure that the spent blast medium is trapped and

collected so that it can be disposed of in an environ-

mentally compatible manner.

Do not remove rating plates or labels–they are safety-relevant

parts of the device.

If you are inexperienced in the use of this type of device, you should

seek out information or training to learn how to handle it safely.

Operation

Connecting the compressed air source

NOTE: Operate the sandblasting gun

only with cleaned, conden-

sate- and oil-free compressed air and never exceed the maximum working

air pressure at the device of 8 bar.

NOTE: The compressed air source must be ﬁtted with a (ﬁlter) / pressure

reducer so that the air pressure can be regulated.

Connect the sandblasting gun to a suitable compressed air source

by connecting the quick-release coupling of the air supply hose with

the plug-in nipple

to the sandblasting gun

. It locks itself in

place automatically.

Filling the blast medium container

Always use a suitable blast medium for your sand blasting work.

NOTE: We recommend using a silica-free blast medium

(e.g. ground blast furnace slag) with a grading of 0.2 mm–0.8 mm.

Operation

Ensure that the blast medium is completely dry and not too coarse.

NOTE: The maximum particle size is 0.8 mm.

Turn the bayonet cap of the blast medium container

to open it.

Pull the blast medium container

oﬀ downwards.

Fill the blast medium container

with the desired amount of

blast medium.

Ensure that the maximum capacity of the container (1000 ml) is

not exceeded.

Screw the blast medium container

back on and lock it in place

by inserting and turning it on to the container lid (see Figs. A).

Using the sandblasting gun

(see Figs. B, C)

Carefully prepare the workpiece before sand blasting it.

Clean it if necessary.

NOTE: Deposits of dust and grease can have a considerably

detrimental eﬀect on the result.

Carefully mask or tape oﬀ everything that is not to be sand blasted.

Ensure that there is always a minimum distance of 20 cm between

the sandblasting gun

and the surface being sand blasted.

Switching on:

Press the trigger

to start operating the sandblasting gun

Switching off:

Release the trigger

to stop operating the sandblasting gun

After you ﬁnish work, disconnect the device from the compressed

air source.

NOTE: First disconnect the hose from the compressed

air source and only then disconnect the compressed

air supply hose from the device. This will ensure that the

compressed air supply hose does not wave around in an uncon-

trolled manner.

Cleaning

DANGER OF INJURY! Always disconnect

the device from the compressed air source before you clean or

maintain it.

Clean the sandblasting gun

and blast medium container

after you ﬁnish working. Blow out the sandblasting gun

and

the blast medium container

with compressed air.

Store the sandblasting gun

in a dry, enclosed room.

Service

Have your sandblasting gun repaired

only by qualified specialist personnel using original

manufacturer parts only. This will ensure that your sandblast-

ing gun remains safe to use.

Warranty

The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the

date of purchase. The appliance has been manufactured

with care and meticulously examined before delivery.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the

can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.

The warranty covers only claims for material and maufacturing defects,

sohjeita sekä käyttöä ja hävitystä koskevia ohjeita. Tutustu ennen tuotteen

Turvallisuusohjeet

Käytä vain paineilma-hiekkapuhalluspistooliin sovel-

tuvia materiaaleja. Älä käytä kvartsihiekkaa. Myrkylli-

sen silikonipölyn muodostumisvaara.

Suorita toimenpiteet, joilla estetään muihin henkilöihin

kohdistuvat haitat (pölyn muodostus).

Huolehdi siitä, että hioma-aine otetaan talteen ja hä-

vitetään ympäristöystävällisesti.

Älä poista laitteen tyyppikilpiä - ne ovat laitteen turvallisuuden

kannalta tärkeä tekijä.

Jos olet kokematon laitteen käytössä, on suositeltavaa suorittaa

koulutus laitteen vaarattomassa käsittelyssä.

Käyttö

Paineilmalähteen liittäminen

HUOMAUTUS: Paineilma-hiekkapuhalluspistoolia

saadaan käyt-

tää ainoastaan puhdistetulla, öljyttömällä ja lauhteettomalla paineilmalla

ja maksimi 8 barin työpainetta ei saa ylittää laitteella.

HUOMAUTUS: Ilmanpaineen säätöä varten paineilmalähteen on

oltava varustettu (suodatin)-paineensäätimellä.

Liitä paineilma-hiekkapuhalluspistooli sopivaan paineilmalähteeseen

yhdistämällä syöttöletkun pikakytkin paineilma-hiekkapuhalluspis-

toolin

ilmaliitäntään

. Lukitus tapahtuu automaattisesti.

Hioma-aineen täyttö

Käytä hiekkapuhallustöissä ainoastaan sopivaa hioma-ainetta.

HUOMAUTUS: Suosittelemme kivipölykeuhko (silikoosi) vaaratonta

taessa.

HUOMAUTUS: Pöly- ja rasvakerrostumat vaikuttavat huomatta-

vasti työn tulokseen.

Peitä tai liimaa huolellisesti kaikki kohdat, joita ei ole tarkoitus hiek-

kapuhaltaa.

Pidä huoli siitä, että säilytät aina 20 cm:n vähimmäisetäisyyden

paineilma-hiekkapuhalluspistoolin

ja puhellettavan pinnan välillä.

Päällekytkentä:

Paina laukaisukahvasta
